Packers | Eddie Lacy rushes for over 100 yards

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 13:48:18 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy ran 17 times for 103 yards in a 34-27 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Although Lacy didn't score, he did help the Packers' ground game show off a bit and forced the Lions to respect both the run and the pass. Lacy's game fluctuates from week to week, however, so beware if you put him in your lineup.

Packers | Eddie Lacy to run more

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 06:54:27 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy is expected to receive more carries after head coach Mike McCarthy said he wanted to give the backs more rushing attempts.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy has 26 carries for 111 yards and no scores and a 17-yard reception. More work could put him in line to be a solid RB2 against the Detroit Lions this week.

Packers | Eddie Lacy ready to rebound

Wed, 07 Sep 2016 22:52:59 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy averaged 5.7 yards per carry in limited action during the preseason, and he looked explosive and powerful as ever. When asked if he is ready to start the season he had a simply reply. "Physically, yeah. Mentally, totally," Lacy said Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy spent a good chunk of the season working on his weight and conditioning, and he is looking to rebound after a disappointing 2015. Lacy remains a high-end RB2, and he might re-emerge as a trusted RB1 by season's end if his conditioning is as good as advertised and he can keep the weight off and remain healthy.

Packers | Eddie Lacy runs well

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 21:17:20 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy had nine carries for 45 yards and a touchdown in a 20-12 preseason win over the Oakland Raiders Thursday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Coming off a down year, Lacy could slip a bit in drafts and up providing RB1 numbers for a RB2 price. If he is still on the board in the fourth round, don't hesitate to pull the trigger.

Packers | Solid night for Eddie Lacy

Fri, 12 Aug 2016 21:22:47 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy carried four times for 24 yards in a 17-11 win over the Cleveland Browns in the preseason Friday, Aug. 12.

Fantasy Tip: There are red flags around Lacy, but he offers RB1 upside and could slip a bit after his struggles last year. If he is available in the fourth round, don't hesitate to grab him as your RB2.

Packers | Eddie Lacy returns to practice

Tue, 09 Aug 2016 23:58:46 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ankle) was back at practice on Tuesday, Aug. 9, after tweaking his ankle last week. It led to him being listed as questionable heading into the Hall of Fame Game.

Fantasy Tip: Given his struggles with his weight it's good that Lacy's injury didn't cost him much time on the practice field. If healthy he figures to operate ahead of James Starks, but the Alabama product carries plenty of risk.

Packers | Eddie Lacy accelerating

Fri, 29 Jul 2016 09:25:22 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has been finishing runs and showing the acceleration he had early in his career, according to running backs coach Ben Sirmans.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy is probably going to split the load with James Starks. Both should be in the RB3 discussion, but Lacy has the ability to win a lion's share at some point.

Packers | Eddie Lacy still rather heavy

Tue, 26 Jul 2016 22:57:08 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was a bit slimmer on the first day of training camp Tuesday, July 26, then he was for organized team activities (OTAs). He went back to P90X trainer Tony Horton for a second time this offseason, getting down to an estimated 240 pounds according to beat writer Pete Dougherty.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy was a huge disappointment in 2015, as his conditioning was called into question, and many likely will have a sour taste in their mouth as a result. He has first-round fantasy ability, but the fact he is working on his weight again is not a great sign. When he is healthy and in tip-top shape, he is a great fantasy option, especially in leagues which reward points per reception (PPR). However, make sure to have plenty of depth at the position.

Packers | Eddie Lacy must impact passing game

Fri, 22 Jul 2016 22:31:32 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy will be pushed into the passing game, according to running backs coach Ben Sirmans, but Sirmans said Lacy will have to beat man coverage. Last year, RB James Starks played 68 more snaps than Lacy and caught 27 more passes.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy's inability to stay in shape has opened the door for Starks to take on a bigger role. Both backs are RB3 candidates, but Starks is the better bet in PPR formats.

Packers | Eddie Lacy back working out

Mon, 18 Jul 2016 16:35:08 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has reunited with trainer Tony Horton, the P90X founder, this summer. Lacy spent two months with Horton earlier this year after Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Lacy "cannot play at the weight he was at (last) year." Lacy was 15 to 18 pounds lighter in April. "Eddie will be fine," McCarthy said in May. "I believe he'll hit the target that we're all looking for when the lights come on."

Fantasy Tip: Lacy clearly means business and isn't going to let himself slip back into bad habits from last year. He should be in good shape for training camp at the end of the month and should yet again be Green Bay's main back. He's a risk-reward back in the middle rounds as a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2.

Packers | Eddie Lacy continues to get in shape

Wed, 15 Jun 2016 19:47:11 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy worked out with P90X founder Tony Horton after the season, and Horton estimated Lacy lost 15 to 20 pounds during the workouts. Running backs coach Ben Sirmans said this week that Lacy might again work with Horton leading up to training camp. "I'm hopeful," Sirmans said. "The information I got from what people have told me, it's helped him. So you always want to be able to do things that help people. I hope he'll do it." After offseason workouts, head coach Mike McCarthy said Lacy still had work to do.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy's fitness and weight was an issue last season, and while he has made strides he still has work to do. He was a giant disappointment for fantasy owners last season, and while he showed glimpses of brilliance, overall his numbers were not even close to early-round fantasy production. This season he could be a steal in the range of Rounds 3 through 6, especially if he whips himself into shape and produces to his capabilities.

Packers | Eddie Lacy still has weight issue?

Wed, 25 May 2016 11:10:14 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy still weighs "in the 240s," according to a source. Lacy did P90X workouts in the offseason and turned to basketball and boxing, too. It was reported back in April that Lacy had already lost 15 to 18 pounds. Head coach Mike McCarthy characterized Lacy's condition as "so far, so good." "Eddie will be fine," McCarthy said. "I believe he'll hit the target that we're all looking for when the lights come on."

Fantasy Tip: Expectations are down for Lacy after he disappointed owners in 2015. With better conditioning and stamina coming into 2016, he could be an excellent value at running back as a high-end RB2 in fantasy drafts.

Packers | Eddie Lacy impresses teammates

Mon, 18 Apr 2016 13:22:12 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy impressed teammates with his physical transformation on the first day of the offseason program Monday, April 19. QB Aaron Rodgers, WR Jordy Nelson and DL Mike Daniels all said Lacy looked good. Lacy is in better shape heading into the 2016 season after his well-documented P90X workouts.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy is coming off one of the more disappointing campaigns from any player in 2015. If the Packers' key players can stay healthy and if Lacy can stay in shape, he could be due for a nice bounce-back season. Lacy is worth drafting as a low-end RB1.

Packers | Eddie Lacy ready to prove himself

Tue, 12 Apr 2016 11:44:58 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has worked his way into better shape this offseason, and the people around Lacy believe the Packers are going to be happy with what they see when Lacy reports to the offseason program, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.

Breer said Lacy has redistributed weight from his midsection to his shoulders and arms. Lacy has slimmed down over the last two months in large part because of P90X workouts.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy is probably one of the bigger stories heading into offseason activities. He disappointed last season after a solid 2014 campaign. If he can be a lean, mean, running machine and stay healthy in 2016, he could very well end up in RB1 territory by season's end.

Packers | Eddie Lacy staying fit

Thu, 24 Mar 2016 13:12:36 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy looks to be staying fit with his PX90 workouts this offseason. Lacy and one of his fans recently took a picture together. The fan said Lacy looked fit and like he has lost a lot of weight. The fan also said that he is 5-9, 185 pounds and that Lacy is much thinner than him.

Fantasy Tip: If Lacy can maintain the work ethic he's shown this offseason, he could find himself once again in the warm graces of head coach Mike McCarthy. Better conditioning may also translate into more playing time for Lacy, but James Starks will have his share of touches, too, eating into Lacy's fantasy value. If Lacy can stay in good shape and in good health, he'll be in the low-end RB1 to high-end RB2 conversation.

Packers | Eddie Lacy keeps progressing

Tue, 22 Mar 2016 15:29:29 -0700

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has continued his PX90 workout program and the reports back to head coach Mike McCarthy have been good so far. McCarthy said he hasn't met with Lacy since the end of the season, but new running backs coach Ben Sirmans has been keeping in regular contact with Lacy while updating McCarthy.

Lacy was criticized by McCarthy after the regular season for not being in good shape, but McCarthy said Lacy is looking good now and that there will be a new Lacy when players return in mid-April if he can stay the course.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy seems to be taking his physique seriously now. If he can maintain his work ethic and if that translates onto the gridiron, we could see the RB1 we expected when he was drafted three years ago. That being said, James Starks will still cut into Lacy's playing time, which stunts his fantasy ceiling. The offseason progress from Lacy is still promising enough to take a chance on him as an RB2.

Packers | Eddie Lacy looks slimmer

Thu, 03 Mar 2016 16:19:53 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy seems to have trimmed down this offseason after taking up an offer from P90X creator Tony Horton. Lacy took some heat from head coach Mike McCarthy following the regular season for not being in shape.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Lacy has taken McCarthy's critique to heart after a disappointing 2015 campaign. It's unclear how much weight Lacy has lost, but he does look to be in better shape than last season. Lacy will look to keep fellow RB James Starks on the bench for as long as possible in 2016, as Starks cut into plenty of Lacy's running back shares last season. Don't put Lacy back into RB1 territory just yet, but he could be well on his way if he maintains his dedication and stays healthy.

Packers | Eddie Lacy weight loss corrected

Fri, 26 Feb 2016 11:08:57 -0800

Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said the team did not ask RB Eddie Lacy to lose as much as 30 pounds this offseason. "The Green Bay Packers have never, ever asked him to lose 30 pounds," McCarthy said. "That's totally out of the realm of what we're talking about. That's the facts there. He'll learn from this."

Fantasy Tip: The Packers coaching staff will monitor Lacy's conditioning all offseason to make sure he comes into training camp in great shape. With better conditioning and in the final year of his contract, Lacy could be primed for a bounce-back season. Buy low on him in fantasy drafts as a low-end RB2 with upside for more.

Packers | Eddie Lacy devoted to weight loss

Thu, 25 Feb 2016 15:09:18 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has sought help from P90X founder Tony Horton in order to get into better shape for the 2016 season. "Eddie will take care of business," head coach Mike McCarthy said. "I have great confidence that he will. I think we'll see definitely a different guy in April, and more importantly in July."

Fantasy Tip: Lacy had his worst season in three years as a pro in 2015, running 187 times for just 758 yards. His conditioning has always been in question, but it was even more so a concern last year. If he comes to camp in shape, he could be in line for a bounce-back season as a buy-low candidate in fantasy drafts.

Packers | Eddie Lacy determined

Thu, 18 Feb 2016 11:30:19 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy sounds determined to improve in 2016, according to new running backs coach Ben Sirmans.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers have asked Lacy to lose weight and show up to camp this fall in much better condition. That'd be a start, but he also needs to be more productive in order to gain valuable touches in 2016. Lacy surely won't be a first-round fantasy pick, but he can be targeted as an low-end RB2 with upside.

Packers | Matt Forte a fit in Green Bay?

Fri, 12 Feb 2016 08:36:52 -0800

Chicago Bears impending free-agent RB Matt Forte would be an ideal fit for the Green Bay Packers, in the opinion of the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs. Packers RB James Starks will be a free agent, and RB Eddie Lacy had a down year in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: Forte's fantasy value would probably be more fruitful elsewhere unless the Pack heavily reduced Lacy's workload. However, Forte is a high-end RB2 in PPR leagues at worst.

Packers | Eddie Lacy well over playing weight

Wed, 03 Feb 2016 21:57:53 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was listed at 234 pounds during the season, but beat writer Rob Reischel says it is a good bet Lacy was at least 25 pound heavier than that. During his 61-yard run in the playoff against the Arizona Cardinals he took 12.02 seconds to complete the play.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy was just the fourth player in team history to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, but 2015 was a disaster and he averaged just 4.05 yards per carry, lowest of his career. He is entering the final year of his rookie contract, so between the team wanting him to be in shape and the fact he'll be playing for a payday, expect quite the bounce back.

Packers | Eddie Lacy looking to shape up

Mon, 01 Feb 2016 08:40:57 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was advised to lose 30 pounds in the offseason, and he's committed to it.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy was a bust this season, but he still has RB1 value in drafts if he can get into better shape.

Packers | Eddie Lacy needs to lose weight

Mon, 18 Jan 2016 15:48:14 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy cannot play at his current weight and will have to work hard this offseason to lose some weight, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy dealt with injuries during the season and split time with James Starks during the second half of the season. Lacy probably will have to share time against next season if he is with the Packers and probably will be a middle-round option for owners.

Packers | Eddie Lacy, Richard Rodgers probable

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 11:16:38 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) and TE Richard Rodgers (hip) are both probable to face the Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round Saturday, Jan. 16. Lacy practiced in full Friday, Jan. 15, while Rodgers was a limited participant.

Fantasy Tip: The Cardinals present a tough matchup for Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap), but the Packers will likely lean on him often if they don't fall behind early. You could do much worse than him on FantasyScore. Rodgers ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) could be relied on more as a safety blanket with Davante Adams out.

Packers | Eddie Lacy limited again

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 14:11:00 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) was limited for the second straight day in practice Thursday, Jan. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) ran 12 times for 60 yards several weeks ago in a loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Lacy could be a big part of Green Bay's game plan in the divisional round, depending on the game flow. He's a midrange running back option on FantasyScore.

Packers | Eddie Lacy, Richard Rodgers limited

Wed, 13 Jan 2016 14:19:37 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) and TE Richard Rodgers (hip) were limited in practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) did very little with his 13 carries versus the Washington Redskins last week, gaining just 34 yards on the ground. He added two catches for seven yards, but he's just too risky be seriously consider starting this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who were not accommodating at all to running backs this season. As for Rodgers ($6,000, 12.0%), he had a great game last week, tallying seven catches for 59 yards and a score. That line broke him out of a three-game slump, and he's not a bad play this week either.

Packers | Eddie Lacy posts 63 yards, TD

Sun, 10 Jan 2016 18:32:44 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy rushed 12 times for 63 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Washington Redskins Sunday, Jan. 10. He had a season-best 30-yard scamper in the second half.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy did not have any receptions, and he lost a fumble late in the game, although the game was mostly decided at that point. Lacy had similar production in Week 16 in the first meeting with the Arizona Cardinals, next week's opponent, running for 60 yards on 12 carries. He did have a 28-yard touchdown reception in that lopsided Week 16 loss, and he is a decent FantasyScore option.

Packers | Eddie Lacy listed as probable

Fri, 08 Jan 2016 13:31:34 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 8, but is listed as probable for the wild-card game against the Washington Redskins Sunday, Jan. 10. The Packers did not practice Friday, so his participation is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,700, 13.4% of cap) has been a bit quiet over the last few games but should continue to receive a majority of the carries against the Redskins. He will be facing a Redskins defense that was around the middle of the pack in terms of allowing fantasy points to running backs this season. Lacy is not a great option on FantasyScore, and owners may want to consider other options.

Packers | Eddie Lacy limited again

Thu, 07 Jan 2016 13:59:11 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) was limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 7.

Fantasy Tip: The Washington Redskins had an averaged defense against the run this season, but Lacy was one of the biggest disappointments of the year. He should still see his fair share of carries, but he won't necessarily do a lot with those carries. Every position is limited in the playoffs, but there is probably more risk with Lacy ($6,700, 13.4% of cap) than other starting running backs.

Packers | Eddie Lacy limited Wednesday

Wed, 06 Jan 2016 14:19:36 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) was limited in practice Wednesday, Jan. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy may have been the most disappointing player from a fantasy perspective this season, but he still has value heading into the playoffs. The Washington Redskins were average versus running backs this year, so Lacy is still worth a look for those participating in playoff only leagues, but don't get your hopes too high for a massive game.

Packers | Eddie Lacy struggles in loss

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 22:53:25 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy rushed 13 times for just 34 yards in the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings, and he added two receptions for seven yards.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy started off the evening all right, but he struggled in the final three quarters. He faces a tough defense next Sunday against the Washington Redskins, but FantasyScore players might be tempted by his upside.

Packers | Eddie Lacy active for SNF

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 16:10:59 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) is active for the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy was listed as probable, so there was little chance he wasn't going to be up for this game. He posted 100 rushing yards and a six-yard reception in the first meeting with Minnesota in Week 11.

Packers | Eddie Lacy probable for Week 17

Fri, 01 Jan 2016 13:14:23 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) is listed as probable for the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay did not practice Friday, Jan. 1, but Lacy's practice involvement was estimated as limited.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) appears on track to play Week 17, and he checks out as a boom-or-bust fantasy commodity. He has plodded for three 100-yard showings through his past six outings, but he has also failed to hit 25 yards in two of those games. Minnesota has also allowed just seven rushing scores all season, so it isn't a cushy matchup. With just a mid-range price, there is upside for Lacy at FantasyScore in Week 17, but he is far from a sure thing, too.

Packers | Eddie Lacy limited

Thu, 31 Dec 2015 14:00:47 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 31.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) appears to be on track to play this week against the Minnesota Vikings. He has been a bit inconsistent with his production recently but does have three 100-yard games in his last six games. The Vikings have played well against running backs this season, so owners may want to consider other options to use.

Packers | Eddie Lacy limited Wednesday

Wed, 30 Dec 2015 14:46:07 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) has been inconsistent for the most part this season despite posting decent numbers last week. He has a bad matchup in a key divisional game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17, so there are probably better choices at running back.

Packers | Eddie Lacy totals 88 yards, TD

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 20:36:15 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy carried 12 times for 60 yards in the Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He added one catch for a 28-yard touchdown on two targets.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy really killed fantasy owners early in the season, as he was dealing with an ankle issue. However, he succeeded down the stretch and looked like a No. 1 pick in the last month when it counted most.

Packers | Eddie Lacy listed as probable

Fri, 25 Dec 2015 16:29:38 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 25, and is listed as probable for the Week 16 game against Arizona Cardinals. The team did not practice Friday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) should receive a majority of the carries against the Cardinals this week. He has posted at least 100 yards in three of the last five games but will be facing a tough Cardinals defense. Lacy could be a solid starting option for owners but may not post big numbers.

Packers | Eddie Lacy still limited

Thu, 24 Dec 2015 13:47:50 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) was basically a no-show last week after a couple recent 100-yard performances. He's just too risky to put in your starting lineups, especially against a top-notch Arizona Cardinals rush defense.

Packers | Eddie Lacy has limited practice

Wed, 23 Dec 2015 14:22:11 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ribs) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) was basically a no-show last week after a string of solid performances in previous weeks. He has still rushed for at least 100 yards in two of his last three games, but he's just too risky to put in your starting lineups, especially against a top-notch Arizona Cardinals rush defense.

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy was held to 23 yards on 11 carries in a 30-20 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Just when it looked like Lacy had turned a corner, he delivered another dud. He still has plenty of upside, but he is hard to trust at FantasyScore.

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy had 24 carries for a season-high 124 yards and a touchdown in a 28-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: After his dreadful start, Lacy has reached 100 yards in three of his last four games. It might not be a bad idea to ride the big back down the stretch at FantasyScore.

Packers | Eddie Lacy regains starting job

Sun, 13 Dec 2015 07:41:32 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has reclaimed his spot as the team's No. 1 running back following an impressive week of practice. He had temporarily lost the starting job after missing curfew ahead of Week 13's game against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) had consecutive games of 100+ rushing yards prior to the Detroit game and has a somewhat favorable matchup against the Cowboys, who have allowed 11 rushing touchdowns this year. He should be viewed as a potential flex option for FantasyScore lineups this week.

Packers | Eddie Lacy can regain starting job

Tue, 08 Dec 2015 13:33:06 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has a chance to regain the starting job after he was demoted for missing curfew ahead of the team's Week 13 game. RB John Crockett was active against the Detroit Lions last week, and Lacy will have to earn a promotion. "I think Eddie's been rejuvenated," head coach Mike McCarthy said. "His work was good today. I checked in on him just like I do with all the players, and I look for him to have a very good week of practice, and I look for him to be productive Sunday." The Packers have not named a starting running back for Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: Before being punished in Week 13, Lacy ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) had back-to-back 100-yard games and looked to be breaking out. The Cowboys are a top-10 fantasy matchup for running backs in PPR games like FantasyScore, so Lacy will qualify as a sleeper pick at least for a flex spot.

Packers | Eddie Lacy was being punished

Fri, 04 Dec 2015 14:46:45 -0800

Green Bay Packers RBs Eddie Lacy and Alonzo Harris had their statuses impacted in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions Thursday, Dec. 3, because they missed curfew, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: After two straight 100-yard performances, Lacy ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) threw his owners under the bus yet again with just five carries for four yards and one catch for negative three yards Thursday night. He'll be an under-the-radar pick on FantasyScore next week against a weak Dallas Cowboys rush defense, but he'll have to regain the starting role in order to help you.

Packers | Eddie Lacy mum on Week 13 usage

Fri, 04 Dec 2015 07:29:45 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy declined to comment on the reason he only carried the ball five times Thursday, Dec. 3, after two straight 100-yard games. "I don't feel as though that's something I should get into yet," Lacy said. He also said he doesn't know where he stands with coaches. "Man, that's something I don't know about," Lacy said. "We'll see as the season goes on."

Fantasy Tip: If anything, this acknowledges an issue exists. James Starks has been really ineffective running the ball, so there's a chance this is just a one-week issue. Keep tabs on this situation in practice next week.

Packers | Eddie Lacy in the doghouse

Fri, 04 Dec 2015 06:27:56 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy had just five carries Thursday, Dec. 3, and his diminished role was a "coach's decision," according to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson. The CBS broadcast crew hinted that Lacy fell out of favor due to an incident in practice this past week.

Fantasy Tip: James Starks had nine carries for 15 yards, and that's probably not going to keep Lacy off the field next week. Monitor this situation as it's likely to be asked about frequently leading up to Week 14.

Packers | Eddie Lacy struggles against Detroit

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 14:29:53 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has a combined 52 yards on the ground and averages just 2.5 yards per attempt in two career games on the road against the Detroit Lions. The Packers face the Lions on the road in Week 13 Thursday, Dec. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) has gone over 100 yards in each of the last two games as he looks to surge to end the regular season. The Lions are a decent matchup for running backs, and he should receive a healthy workload as the Packers look to get their offense going. Lacy should be a serviceable runner for FantasyScore users.

Packers | Eddie Lacy, Davante Adams probable

Wed, 25 Nov 2015 12:56:57 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ankle) and WR Davante Adams (ankle) participated fully in practice Wednesday, Nov. 25, and are listed as probable to play Thursday, Nov. 26, against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) resurrected himself last week from the fantasy doldrums, so he shouldn't be overlooked on FantasyScore this week, but the Chicago Bears have only allowed three rushing touchdowns to running backs this year. Adams is a good play against Chicago as the Bears have surrendered 14 touchdowns to wide receivers this year -- tied for third most in the league.

Packers | Eddie Lacy a full participant

Tue, 24 Nov 2015 13:48:23 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ankle) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Nov. 24, after being limited Monday, Nov. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Lacy ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) had a big rebound game last week, which is hopefully a sign of things to come for the rest of the season. There is still some risk involved in playing Lacy since he has been inconsistent, but he's still worth a start against the Chicago Bears Thursday night.
