Dolphins | Kenny Stills ineffective Monday night

Mon, 11 Dec 2017 21:24:14 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills was held to just two catches on four targets for 18 yards in the team's Week 14 victory Monday, Dec. 11, against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: This dud came out of nowhere, as Stills had been very solid as of late, averaging more than 80 receiving yards over his last seven games entering Week 14. However, he ended up churning out his fewest receiving yards and receptions since Week 4. The former New Orleans Saint can be a volatile option, so don't be surprised if he disappoints again before the end of the year.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught five passes on 13 targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in a 35-9 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has been a boom-or-bust option all season, but he could be in for another big outing in Week 14 in a favorable matchup against the New England Patriots.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills get on board late

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 16:41:37 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills finished with three receptions for 47 yards and six targets in Week 12 against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Stills was actually blanked through the first three quarters, but he came alive on a touchdown drive in the fourth quarter with five of his targets. Fantasy owners would like to see a little more consistency. He remains more of a WR4 or WR5 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 13.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills erupts for 180 yards, TD

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 17:37:43 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills posted seven receptions for 180 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: Stills jelled nicely with Matt Moore once he replaced the injured Jay Cutler and the two were on the same page all afternoon. The receiver will look to continue the good work into New England in Week 12, but he should still be treated as more of a WR3 or WR4 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills playing in Week 11

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 08:56:27 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) is officially active for the team's Week 11 game.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has been playing well over the last several games and should receive a decent amount of targets against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in all fantasy leagues.

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 05:04:14 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) is expected to play in Week 11's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: Stills was listed as questionable on the injury report due to minor back spasms suffered during practice Thursday, Nov. 16. He has at least five receptions and 65 receiving yards in three of his last four games and merits consideration as a flex option in most fantasy formats.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills misses practice

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 13:25:16 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 17, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Stills may be a game-time decision for Week 11, so owners will need to check the inactive list to determine his status. He has played well over the last several weeks but will be a risky option because of the injury. Owners will need other options available in case Stills is ruled out.

Dolphins | No practice for Kenny Stills on Friday

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 10:16:15 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Stills hurt his back Thursday, so while the injury is not considered serious, he is obviously in a race against the clock to recover to the point where he can feel good about playing in Week 11. Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker would expect to see more targets if he cannot go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dolphins | Limited practice for Kenny Stills

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 14:10:50 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Stills was added to the injury report Thursday, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. He has been targeted at least eight times in three of the last four games and has at least 65 yards in each of those games. He could be a flex option in some leagues if he is active for Week 11.

Dolphins | Miami to face decimated secondary

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 11:00:15 -0700

Miami Dolphins WRs DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills will head into Week 9 in a favorable spot as the Oakland Raiders ruled out CBs David Amerson (foot), Gareon Conley (shin) and Demetrius McCray (knee) on Friday, Nov. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Parker has been out since Week 5 with an ankle injury and Miami is coming off a dismal showing against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but neither party could ask for much more than to face a secondary that will likely be trotting out Sean Smith and T.J. Carrie as its starting corners. This should be a get-right matchup for the Dolphins' passing game, so don't hesitate using Parker, Landry and Stills in Week 9.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills leads team in receiving

Thu, 26 Oct 2017 21:15:21 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught five passes (on 10 targets) for a team-best 65 yards in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Tip: On a night when the Dolphins were terrible offensively, Stills came the closest to make a positive impact -- he was the only player on the team to average more than eight yards per catch. It was a step backward from his 85-yard, two-touchdown showing in Week 7, but Stills has worked his way into viable flex territory.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills scores pair of TDs

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 18:26:44 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills posted six receptions for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 7 against the New York Jets on nine targets.

Fantasy Tip: Stills posted just one touchdown through his first four games, but he now has three scores over the past two outings and his 85 yards were a season best. He is worth a look as a WR4 or flex fantasy play in Week 8 against the Ravens on Thursday night.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills gets into end zone

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 13:56:55 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills posted four grabs for 49 yards and a touchdown on his four targets in the Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Stills tied a season best with his four grabs, and he was just two yards shy of a high in yardage. It was his first visit to the end zone since the team's first game in Week 2 against the Chargers. The Dolphins host the Jets in Week 7. Stills should still be treated more as a low-end WR4 or flex option in deeper fantasy leagues.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills quiet in Week 4

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 10:04:27 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught three passes for 13 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has not been a big factor in the passing game over the first three weeks but will continue to be a deep threat for the Dolphins. Owners may want to keep him on the bench until he has a productive performance.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills will play

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 05:50:55 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (hand) is active for Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. He was listed as questionable entering the game but fully practiced Friday, Sept. 29.

Fantasy Tip: A hand injury for a wideout isn't exactly comforting, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. New Orleans has been trash against the pass this year, and Stills is the type of receiver who excels with a big-armed passer, like Jay Cutler. The deep threat has more worth in non-PPR and is in the WR3 or flex territory for most gamers.

Dolphins | Questionable tag for Kenny Stills

Fri, 29 Sep 2017 15:58:44 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (hand) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, but is listed as questionable for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has been targeted 15 times in the first two games and will continue to be a solid target for Jay Cutler this week. He will have a favorable matchup in Week 4 and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in all leagues.

Dolphins | Miami's Week 4 injury report

Fri, 29 Sep 2017 10:28:11 -0700

Miami Dolphins OT Eric Smith (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and has been ruled out Week 4 in London versus the New Orleans Saints. DT Jordan Phillips (ankle) was limited in practice and is listed as doubtful. RB Jay Ajayi (knee), LB Kiko Alonso (shoulder), G Isaac Asiata (ankle), LS John Denney (hamstring), LB Rey Maualuga (hamstring), WR Kenny Stills (hand) and CB Alterraun Verner (hamstring) practiced in full and are listed as questionable. LB Chase Allen (neck) and WR Jakeem Grant (ankle) were limited and are also listed as questionable. S Nate Allen (hamstring) and C Mike Pouncey (hip) each logged a full practice and were removed from the injury report.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills still limited

Thu, 28 Sep 2017 13:22:37 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (hand) remained limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Look for any updates on Stills' status leading up to Sunday morning. Remember, this game is in London, so a decision will need to be made on Stills earlier than normal. If he plays he deserves flex consideration in a great matchup versus the New Orleans Saints.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills limited

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 14:25:31 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (hamstring) did not participate in team drills Monday, Aug. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has been dealing with the hamstring injury for the last few days and probably will be eased back into practice. He posted 726 yards and nine touchdowns last season and should have a solid role in the passing game this season. He should be considered a low-end No. 3 or a No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills has hamstring issue

Sat, 05 Aug 2017 20:06:44 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (hamstring) is dealing with a tight hamstring, head coach Adam Gase said Saturday, Aug. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has become a dangerous deep threat for Miami, but he is a big-play dependent fantasy option who is best to draft as a WR4.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills ready to build on 2016

Sun, 09 Jul 2017 18:10:48 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills' nine receiving touchdowns last year were the sixth-most in the NFL, and Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post believes Stills' success will continue this season and can be largely credited to head coach Adam Gase.

Fantasy Tip: Stills emerged as one of the better deep threats in the league, but it is important to keep in mind that he had just 42 catches all of last season. Draft him as a WR4, but he can be a touchdown-dependent WR3 against the right matchups.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills back on the field

Tue, 13 Jun 2017 17:39:31 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (undisclosed) participated in practice Tuesday, June 13. Stills missed the last two organized team activities because of a minor injury.

Fantasy Tip: Stills should receive a solid amount of playing time in 2017 after posting 726 yards and nine touchdowns this past season. Owners in most leagues should consider Stills as a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (undisclosed) left practice early Wednesday, June 7, after suffering a minor injury, according to WR Leonte Carroo.

Fantasy Tip: Stills could miss a practice or two, but the injury is not considered serious. Stills will continue to be a top three receiver for the Dolphins in 2017 and can be considered a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills to stay in Miami

Wed, 08 Mar 2017 17:07:21 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills has agreed to terms with the Dolphins Wednesday, March 8, according to sources. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Fantasy Tip: Stills was a solid part of the Dolphins' passing game this past season and should have a similar role in 2017. He is coming off a nine-touchdown season in 2016 and will continue to be a deep threat for Miami. Owners in most fantasy leagues should consider Stills a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver.

Dolphins | Miami makes offer to Kenny Stills

Wed, 08 Mar 2017 12:50:36 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills has received an offer from the Dolphins worth around $8 million per season.

Fantasy Tip: Stills probably will test the free-agent market to see if he can receive a better offer from a team. He recorded 726 yards and nine touchdowns in 2016 and should have a solid role in a team's offense next season. He can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues depending on the team.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills not expected to return

Sat, 04 Mar 2017 10:38:57 -0800

Impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills (Dolphins) may command $10 to $12 million per season in free agency, making it unlikely he will re-sign with the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Tip: Despite leaving Miami in touchdown catches last season with nine, Stills isn't going to overtake Jarvis Landry as the top receiver. The Dolphins also probably want to give former first-rounder DeVante Parker every chance to succeed, so breaking the bank for Stills doesn't make a ton of sense. At the moment, the Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans would seem to be his most likely landing spots.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills unlikely to stay with MIA

Mon, 27 Feb 2017 21:59:57 -0800

Updating a previous item, Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills is "more likely to leave via free agency" than remain with the club, according to "multiple NFL sources."

Fantasy Tip: Stills wants big dollars when he becomes a free agent, and probably more than he deserves considering he's yet to post a 1,000-yard campaign in his four-year career. He's been mostly connected to the Eagles, but no matter where he ends up, he'll have to prove himself before owners should even consider him in the WR3/FLEX picture in standard formats.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills' price range set?

Mon, 27 Feb 2017 10:30:22 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills' free-agent market value is expected to be around $12 million per year, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. The Dolphins hope to make a strong pitch to Stills this week in an effort to re-sign him, but sources believe Stills will test free agency.

Fantasy Tip: The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the teams mentioned as a possible suitor for Stills. Stills' game is tailored for standard leagues and he should be viewed as a WR4 in such formats.

Redskins | Kenny Stills an option for Redskins?

Wed, 15 Feb 2017 20:13:21 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills is a possible replacement for Washington Redskins impending free-agent WR DeSean Jackson, according to The Washington Post's Mark Bullock.

Fantasy Tip: Stills is a deep threat in the same vein as D-Jax. At just 24, though, he is entering the prime of his career and has a chance to become a more reliable contributor after his big-play 2016 showing. We have seen flashes from Stills in New Orleans and Miami, but he was a supporting cast member rather than the focal point. While much remains unsettled, his base value is in the low-end WR3 to No. 4 conversation, with an upside of a midrange WR2.

Dolphins | Possible figures for a Kenny Stills deal

Tue, 07 Feb 2017 13:22:54 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills could demand a deal in the range of five years, $30 million and $12.5 million guaranteed, according to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Fantasy Tip: Those figures would put Stills close to the deals that Mohamed Sanu and Travis Benjamin signed with their respective teams last year. Stills is due for a nice payday after scoring a career-high nine touchdowns last season. Even so, he should not be viewed as more than a WR4 in his current situation.

Eagles | Kenny Stills on Eagles' wish list

Thu, 02 Feb 2017 05:52:45 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills will be pursued by the Philadelphia Eagles if he becomes a free agent, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Stills had a 42-726-9 line in what was a really good season. Entering his fifth year, he's just going to be 25 years old, and there could be more in the tank. He's more valuable in non-PPR leagues because he has averaged just 41 catches in four years, and he's on the WR3/WR4 apex in most formats.

Dolphins | Jay Ajayi wants Kenny Stills back

Sat, 28 Jan 2017 17:20:07 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi said the offense "reaped the benefits" of having WR Kenny Stills this season. "It'd be great for us to have him back," Ajayi said. "I know he wants to be back. I know the team wants him back. So whatever we need to do to make that happen, hopefully we do that."

Fantasy Tip: Stills was a boom-or-bust play this year, but he showed the ability to make big plays, averaging 17.3 yards per catch and scoring a team-high nine touchdowns. Draft him as a WR4 if he re-signs with Miami.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills to meet with Dolphins

Thu, 26 Jan 2017 07:44:57 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills will meet with the team at the Senior Bowl.

Fantasy Tip: Stills led the team with nine TDs last season to go with 42 catches for 726 yards. Stills had 11 TDs in his previous three years combined, which could mean last season's spike was an aberration. Since his counting stats aren't something to rely on, he'll be safer as a WR4 in fantasy.

Dolphins | Miami will try to re-sign Kenny Stills

Thu, 12 Jan 2017 17:55:52 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills is an impending free agent, and re-signing him is one of the top priorities for Miami this offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Stills can be inconsistent, but there is no denying his ability to hit the big play. If he ends up back in Miami, he will be a boom-or-bust WR4 in 2017.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills eyeing return to Miami

Mon, 09 Jan 2017 09:47:51 -0800

Impending free-agent WR Kenny Stills (Dolphins) is hopeful he will be able to return to the Miami Dolphins next season.

Fantasy Tip: Considering he doesn't turn 25 until April, Stills shouldn't have trouble finding a new employer should Miami not feel the same way. The fourth-year pro averaged 17.3 yards per reception and led the team with a career-high nine touchdown catches in 2016, so it would be surprising if the Dolphins don't want him back. While the presence of Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker will continue to cap his upside, Stills should be a popular WR4/WR5 option in drafts this summer.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills finishes with 82 yards

Sun, 08 Jan 2017 13:44:49 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught five passes for 82 yards in the Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Tip: Stills had a strong finish to his 2016 season with a touchdown in five of his last six regular season games. He should receive interest from multiple teams if he hits the free-agent market and could be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver depending on his team.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills reaches end zone

Sat, 24 Dec 2016 14:44:42 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught three passes for 35 yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has caught a touchdown pass in four of his last five games and has been targeted at least five times in fix of the last six games. Stills can be at least a flex option because of his touchdown potential.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills finds the end zone

Sun, 11 Dec 2016 16:32:43 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills posted six receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Week 14 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted a team-high seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Stills connected on the score with Ryan Tannehill, but that connection is likely done for the season since the QB suffered what is believed to be a torn ACL. Stills will be working with Matt Moore, so look for mediocre stat lines down the stretch for Stills and his fantasy owners in deeper leagues.

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 14:39:01 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught three passes for a game-high 72 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Stills is capable of scoring any given Sunday, but trusting him in fantasy lineups is always a risky deal. The Dolphins face a tough schedule ahead for fantasy receivers. Play him at your own risk.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills will play

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 09:22:22 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) is officially active for the team's Week 12 game.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has seen a decent amount of targets this season but has been held to under 50 yards in five of the last six games. He can still be a flex option in deeper leagues but probably can be avoided in most standard leagues.

Fri, 25 Nov 2016 17:20:20 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 25, and is listed as questionable for Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Stills has been on the injury report over the past few weeks but has been able to play. He has been an inconsistent option for owners over the last several games but does have two touchdowns in the last four games. Stills can be a flex option in deeper leagues but probably can be avoided in most leagues.

Dolphins | Limited practice for Kenny Stills

Thu, 24 Nov 2016 21:39:40 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Stills tends to be an all-or-nothing fantasy play, but he could be worth gambling on as a flex option in Week 12 thanks to a friendly matchup against San Francisco.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills also limited

Wed, 23 Nov 2016 13:47:37 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Fantasy Tip: As is the case with Landry, Stills should be able to play if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. He's usually a risk, but the matchup with the San Francisco 49ers is too good not to consider. Starting Stills as a flex would be ideal.

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 07:52:34 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) is expected to play in Week 11's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Stills is a boom-or-bust flex option who tantalizes fantasy owners with blazing speed but lacks consistency. He has eclipsed the 50-yard receiving mark just once in his last five contests and should be avoided in most formats.

Fri, 18 Nov 2016 16:11:56 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Still probably will be in uniform in Week 11 and will have his normal workload if he is active. He has been held for 50 yards or less in four of the last five games and probably should be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Wed, 16 Nov 2016 16:34:21 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Stills should be able to play this week and will have a solid role in the passing game. He has caught a touchdown in two of the last three games but has been targeted at least four times in only one of his last six games. Stills has value because of his big-play ability and can be a flex option in deeper leagues.
