Kansas City Chiefs impending free-agent QB Chase Daniel is a candidate to return to the club in 2016 "at the right price", according to general manager John Dorsey.
Fantasy Tip: In other words, he's likely done in Kansas City. A team like the Philadelphia Eagles, for example, may deem Daniel as a much more cost-effective option than Sam Bradford. Daniel, who has shown well in preseason and spot duty in recent years, will almost certainly come off the market quickly after free agency begins and probably be a middling fantasy QB2 wherever he lands.

University of Oklahoma WR Dorial Green-Beckham is drawing interest from the Kansas City Chiefs. "Physically, we think he has all the gifts in the world," Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said Thursday, Feb. 19. "We've all admired him. All of us who have been in the state of Missouri and the Kansas City area have seen him afar, have admired his physical traits. I think now what people want to do is get a feel for him as a person, see where he is at this state. Just see where he is, that's what we are doing. We will be meeting him in the next couple days and I look forward to it."
Fantasy Tip: Kansas City owns the No. 18 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and Green-Beckham is projected as a potential first-round pick. He has all the physical tools but issues off the field make him a risk. However, the Chiefs haven't had a receiver catch a touchdown pass since 2013 so Green-Beckham could make a quick impact if he ends up in Kansas City.

Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said the team has narrowed the field down to four contenders for the top overall pick, but stressed the team is still going through a process. "We've said all along it's a process, and that process will not be finalized, that board will not be set, until four days before the draft," Dorsey said. "That's the way that whole process works itself out. There are different phases that you go through. I mean, right now, I just walked downstairs and we're in a different phase right now. We're going back as a group and assessing all the different positions."

Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey did not get into specifics Friday, Feb. 22, but he said the team will visit with several quarterbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine. "I just can't name them off the top of my head right now, but we have anywhere between six and eight quarterbacks that we are going to sit and meet with as a group collectively."

Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said the organization has not yet discussed the quarterback position as far as NFL Draft prospects are concerned. The Chiefs, who own the No. 1 pick overall, are in need of a quarterback. "You may think I'm dodging the answer, but we truly aren't going to get to the quarterbacks in our draft meeting, look at them entirely until Friday and Saturday of this week, so I can't really give you a concrete answer on that," Dorsey said.

We all know there is some pressure involved in that. You make the right pick by choosing the best player available," Dorsey said.
