Chargers | San Diego overhauling run game

Sun, 24 Apr 2016 19:04:53 -0700

San Diego Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said the coaching staff has been talking about how to improve the run game, and they are going to "strip it down and start over," possibly with a new scheme.

Fantasy Tip: Melvin Gordon's fantasy value may hinge on whether or not the changes are effective, and despite his upside, he should be drafted as a RB3. In PPR formats, Danny Woodhead is the better option as a strong RB3 or low-end RB2.

Chargers | San Diego wants to keep Ladarius Green

Thu, 25 Feb 2016 12:39:04 -0800

San Diego Chargers impending free-agent TE Ladarius Green is a player the team would like to keep. Chargers general manager Tom Telesco intends to meet with Green's player rep at the NFL Combine this week.

Fantasy Tip: Green was underutilized for the bulk of his first four years in San Diego and may not be willing to wait any longer behind Antonio Gates, who is also a free agent the team is interested in bringing back. Green figures to be a hot commodity if he makes it to the open market and could easily be a dark-horse TE1 candidate next season if he lands in a favorable situation.
