Steelers | Le'Veon Bell thinks he can play better

Thu, 20 Aug 2015 12:59:18 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said he believes he can play better this season because he thinks he is quicker than he was last season. "A lot of people talk about the season I had last year. They call it a breakout season, but I don't look at it like that," Bell said. "I look at it as me just getting started. ... I still feel like I can do a lot of things better. Last year wasn't even close to me being my best." Bell said he lost four pounds this offseason and is at 2.9% body fat.

Fantasy Tip: Bell will miss the first two games of the season because of a suspension but should still be a first-round pick in most leagues. Bell has the ability to help in the running and passing game and should be a weekly starting option for owners.

Steelers | PIT regulars sitting out this weekend

Fri, 07 Aug 2015 11:42:29 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le'Veon Bell, WR Antonio Brown, TE Heath Miller, C Maurkice Pouncey and LB James Harrison will all sit out for the team's Hall of Fame Game against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend. The Steelers will be extra cautious with an extra preseason game on their schedule this year. Backup QB Landry Jones will receive significant snaps in the game.

Fantasy Tip: A lot of team's regulars will be rested in preseason games, and that's even more so the case early on in the preseason. There's nothing to see here for fantasy owners.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell's suspension reduced

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 12:00:57 -0700

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell's original three-game suspension has been reduced to a two-game suspension Tuesday, July 28.

Fantasy Tip: Bell has still been drafted pretty high, but his value increases with the extra game he gains via this reduction. Despite the fact that he'll only be playing in 14 games, barring an injury, he could easily still finish as a RB1, if not the top running back in PPR games. DeAngelo Williams is expected to start the first two games of the season, so taking him late in drafts is a worthwhile goal.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell staying prepared

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 11:27:13 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell doesn't know yet how many games he'll be missing this season due to an impending suspension. Bell is focused on training camp and being a better teammate, though. He said he's going to give it his all every time he's on the practice field. Bell also said he might be given a lighter load in training camp this time around.

Fantasy Tip: Bell could end up being suspended somewhere between one and three games. Whether his suspension is reduced or upheld, he should still be regarded as a RB1. If his suspension is reduced, he should still be an early first-round pick. If he still ends up serving a three-game suspension, he's more of a late first-round pick to early second-round pick.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell working to reduce ban

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 08:25:28 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell's legal team and the NFL are negotiating to reduce Bell's three-game suspension to one or two games.

Fantasy Tip: Bell's fantasy stock would firmly be in the top half of the first round of most drafts if a game was knocked off his three-game suspension.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell in rare company

Mon, 27 Jul 2015 13:46:37 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell joined RBs Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig last season as the only running backs in history to gain 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same year.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is a special talent, but that talent could be on the sideline for three games if Bell's three-game suspension isn't reduced. He should still be one of the first running backs off the board in fantasy drafts even if the suspension is upheld.

Steelers | DeAngelo Williams busy as backup

Sun, 26 Jul 2015 17:39:07 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams said he "absolutely" received enough work as the backup during the first day of training camp Sunday, July 26, and he expects to be ready to start Week 1 if RB Le'Veon Bell is suspended.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is still waiting to appeal his suspension, but Williams will likely have to start for at least a couple of games. He will have short-term value at FantasyScore while Bell is sidelined, and in seasonal leagues, Bell owners should try to grab Williams as an insurance policy.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell looks explosive

Sun, 26 Jul 2015 17:31:56 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell looked explosive during the first day of training camp Sunday, July 26, and he said he is in the best shape of his life.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is still waiting to have his appeal of a three-game suspension, but even if he misses three games, he should still provide RB1 value as the workhorse back in Pittsburgh's powerful offense.

Steelers | DeAngelo Williams being challenged

Sat, 25 Jul 2015 17:11:31 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams is not receiving any first-team reps despite RB Le'Veon Bell facing a three-game suspension, head coach Mike Tomlin said. Tomlin also said he is challenging Williams in ways that are uncomfortable for a 10-year veteran.

Fantasy Tip: It seems pretty clear that Williams is only going to have a worthwhile role in the offense while Bell is suspended or if he misses time for another reason. If you draft Bell, consider adding Williams as an insurance policy.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell not 100% yet

Sat, 25 Jul 2015 16:27:44 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) said his right knee isn't 100% yet, but he said it's close.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is expected to be ready for training camp, but he still hasn't had his appeal of a three-game suspension heard yet. Bell is still a legit RB1, but missing three games makes him drop a tier.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell appeal update

Sat, 25 Jul 2015 12:25:43 -0700

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said he doesn't even have a hearing date yet for an appeal on his three-game suspension.

Fantasy Tip: It's certainly taking a while for the wheels to roll regardin Bell's case. This situation will need to be monitored throughout training camp and the preseason. For now, he should still be viewed as a RB1 even though he may be playing 13 games.

Steelers | LeVeon Bell appeal not heard yet

Tue, 21 Jul 2015 13:29:26 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell's supposed appeal for his three-game suspension has not been brought to the attention of commissioner Roger Goodell. Bell was suspended for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence.

Fantasy Tip: Bell should still be viewed as a RB1 even if his three-game suspension is upheld. He's arguably the most versatile running back in the NFL and should be selected early in the first round of drafts.

NFL | Pierre Thomas' hands among the best

Sun, 19 Jul 2015 19:35:20 -0700

Free-agent RB Pierre Thomas (Saints) ranked seventh among running backs with 45 catches last season, and only Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell and Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy graded higher at catching the ball, according to ProFootballFocus.com.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas' fantasy value is currently in limbo, but if he lands with a team that needs a reliable third-down back, he could be worth a late-round flier in PPR leagues.

Steelers | No date for Le'Veon Bell's appeal

Wed, 17 Jun 2015 10:54:00 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said he has not had the appeal of his three-game suspension heard at this point and does not know when the appeal will be scheduled.

Fantasy Tip: Bell likely will sit out at least one game but could try to have his suspension reduced to two games. The suspension will affect Bell's fantasy value, but he should still be an option in the first round because of his ability to produce in the running and passing game.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell close to full strength

Tue, 26 May 2015 18:47:59 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) said his knee is close to 100% healed from the injury he suffered during the 2014 season.

Fantasy Tip: Bell could take things slow during the offseason workouts but should be ready for the start of training camp. Bell is scheduled to miss the first three games of the regular season but could still be a first-round option since he produces in the running and passing game.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell fine with punishment

Thu, 14 May 2015 16:22:37 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said Thursday, May 14, that he didn't have a problem with his three-game suspension for being charged with possession of marijuana and driving under the influence. "I made a mistake," Bell said. "I'm going to just have to do my time, whatever the final decision may be. Get past it, and get ready for next season and continuing to be the great football player I know I can be."

Fantasy Tip: DeAngelo Williams will likely start the first three games of the season in Bell's stead. Bell still has RB1 potential if he can play the way he did last season when he amassed over 2,100 total yards and 11 total touchdowns.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell close to full health

Thu, 23 Apr 2015 15:31:25 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) said his knee is close to being 100% after injuring it five weeks ago.

Fantasy Tip: Bell should be good to go for the 2015 season. Keep in mind that Bell has been suspended for the first three weeks of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He should still be a viable RB1 if he can maintain the pace he set in 2014.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell suspended three games

Thu, 09 Apr 2015 06:42:30 -0700

Updating an ongoing story, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell was suspended three games and fined an additional game check after violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to league sources. He has appealed.

Fantasy Tip: DeAngelo Williams will fill in for Bell, who figures to miss at least two games after his appeal is heard. If Bell's three-game absence is upheld, it's really hard to rely on him as an RB1. If you can acquire him as your second running back, you've had a good start to your draft.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell out just two games?

Tue, 07 Apr 2015 14:20:13 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is expected to be suspended for the first two games of next season, according to sources. Bell is being suspended following an arrest last August for marijuana possession. Bell will be involved in a first-offender's program in which he will spend 15 months on probation. Bell faces a two-game suspension based on the terms of the NFL's new substance abuse policy.

Fantasy Tip: DeAngelo Williams figures to take over the starting role for the Steelers' first two games. He'll be a decent flex option with RB2 upside over the first two weeks until Bell returns. Bell should still be considered in RB1 territory despite the two-game suspension.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell to miss four games?

Mon, 02 Mar 2015 13:23:14 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell could be suspended up to four games, according to the NFL's new substance-abuse policy. A two-game suspension is standard for a DUI resulting from the use of alcohol. However, Bell's DUI came from marijuana use, so he could be suspended for a longer period of time.

Fantasy Tip: Missing four games would really put a dent in Bell's fantasy value, seeing as that's a fourth of the regular season. Bell is still expected to be suspended for at least two games. If he only misses two games, he could still easily be considered an RB1, especially in point-per-reception leagues.

Steelers | PIT planning to be without Le'Veon Bell

Thu, 12 Feb 2015 15:08:49 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell could very well be suspended for at least the first two games of the 2015 season. General manager Kevin Colbert said the team is planning on being without Bell at some point. Bell was arrested in August of 2014 for marijuana charges and driving under the influence.

Fantasy Tip: Bell was the top fantasy running back in 2014 and any suspension would certainly hurt his fantasy value. However, two games isn't a lot of missed time and he should still be able to produce No. 1 fantasy running back numbers assuming he can stay healthy and avoids further trouble.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell expected to be suspended

Wed, 11 Feb 2015 14:58:17 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is expected to be suspended for the first two games of the 2015 season as a result of his August arrest on marijuana charges, according to sources. Bell will spend 15 months on probation as part of the first-offender's program and will have his driver's license suspended for 60 days. RBs Josh D. Harris and Ben Tate took over when Bell missed the team's playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Tip: Bell's ability to catch passes out of the backfield will likely make him a top-five pick in PPR leagues next year. The news of a possible two-game suspension will be a hit to his draft value, but he should still be considered an RB1 everywhere.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell facing suspension?

Fri, 06 Feb 2015 09:08:54 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell will spend 15 months on probation in a first-offender's program after his arrest last August for marijuana. He will also have his driver's license suspended for 60 days. Bell can petition the court to have his arrest record expunged if he finishes the probation program without incident. Defense attorney Robert Del Greco Jr. said that Bell will likely face up to a two-game NFL suspension.

Fantasy Tip: If Bell indeed faces a two-game suspension for the start of the 2015 season, that would likely bump him down from a surefire top-five pick in your fantasy football drafts. Stay tuned.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell able to work out

Thu, 29 Jan 2015 09:56:38 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) has been able to work out despite ending the season with an injured knee. "The knee is close to 100%," Bell said. "I'm probably about 85-90%, been able to run on it a little bit. So I'm getting back to work out a little."

Fantasy Tip: Bell should be ready in more than enough time for next season if he's already running on his banged up knee. In 2014, Bell showed that he's a top-five fantasy football pick, especially in point-per-reception formats.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell will not play in Pro Bowl

Mon, 19 Jan 2015 15:14:13 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) has not been cleared to play in the 2015 Pro Bowl.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is still dealing with the knee injury he suffered in Week 17, but he should be fine for next season. Bell likely will be a candidate for the No. 1 overall pick in fantasy drafts next season because of his involvement in the running and passing game.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell will have normal offseason

Tue, 06 Jan 2015 10:25:03 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell's (knee) injury isn't expected to affect his offseason work. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Bell could have played this weekend if the team had advanced.

Fantasy Tip: You shouldn't be worried about Bell at all heading into the 2015 season. For fantasy football purposes, Bell should be a top-five draft pick in all leagues, and he has added value in point-per-reception formats.

Steelers | Josh Harris with upside

Sat, 03 Jan 2015 16:01:19 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Josh D. Harris is expected to play often Saturday, Jan. 3, with RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) inactive for the wild-card playoff game.

Fantasy Tip: Harris ($3,300; 6.6% of your cap) is a shaky start on FantasyScore against a stout Baltimore Ravens defense.

Steelers | Steelers 0-3 without Le'Veon Bell

Fri, 02 Jan 2015 10:29:37 -0800

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 0-3 and have averaged 14 points per game when RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) has not been in the lineup in his career.

Fantasy Tip: Josh Harris will get the bulk of the work for the Steelers this weekend, but Dri Archer and Ben Tate could steal some carries as well. None of these running backs are strong options against a good Baltimore run defense this week in FantasyScore.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell ruled out against Ravens

Fri, 02 Jan 2015 09:53:38 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) has been ruled out for the team's Wild Card game against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday, Jan. 3.

Fantasy Tip: You can officially forget about Bell ($8,100; 16.2% of cap) at FantasyScore this weekend. Josh Harris ($3,300) will see the bulk of the carries in Bell's absence. He's a cheap alternative, but he could split carries with Dri Archer and Ben Tate, too, and he's facing a strong Ravens run D. Harris isn't the smartest of options unless you're trying to save cash for the rest of your roster.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell hoping to play Saturday

Fri, 02 Jan 2015 09:04:50 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) is hoping to play in the team's Wild Card game against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday, Jan. 3. He didn't practice Wednesday, Dec. 31 but he did some light jogging and rode a stationary bike. He'll be questionable, at best, to play, but he's currently walking without a limp. "My leg feels great," said Bell, who left the Steelers' 27-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night after taking a helmet shot on his knee. "It feels good to be able to move around and not think about it much." Doctors have told Bell that he can't make his knee any worse by playing.

Fantasy Tip: Bell ($8,100; 16.2% of cap) is likely being optimistic about his chances of playing tomorrow night. If you're setting your FantasyScore lineup, it's wise to avoid Bell at all costs. Even if he does suit up, he may not see the type of action he's used to seeing when healthy.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell not comfortable with knee

Thu, 01 Jan 2015 18:17:08 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) said he did not try to run in practice Thursday, Jan. 1, because he did not feel comfortable with his injured knee.

Fantasy Tip: Unless his recovery speeds up dramatically, it seems unlikely that Bell will be available Sunday.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell misses practice

Thu, 01 Jan 2015 12:44:10 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 1.

Fantasy Tip: It is not looking good for Bell to play in the playoff game, but he does still have a few days to improve. Josh Harris likely would receive a majority of the carries if Bell is not able to play, but may not be a great option on FantasyScore even though he only costs $3,300.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell sits

Wed, 31 Dec 2014 13:48:24 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Fantasy Tip: It is not a surprise that Bell did not practice today, as we will likely not know much for sure on his status until later in the week. There are probably safer options available to you this week in FantasyScore contests.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell says he feels great

Wed, 31 Dec 2014 08:31:20 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) said he is feeling great, and is not walking with any discernible limp Wednesday, Dec. 31. Bell said he is taking it day by day.

Fantasy Tip: Even if Bell does play, he should probably be avoided in FantasyScore at this point. Joshua Harris and Dri Archer would likely both see work if Bell is not active, with Harris likely getting the majority of the carries. Both should be avoided against a good Baltimore Ravens run defense this week.

Steelers | Steelers not ruling Le'Veon Bell out

Tue, 30 Dec 2014 10:57:00 -0800

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) won't be ruled out for the Wild Card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday, Jan. 3, but head coach Mike Tomlin said the team won't compromise Bell's long-term health by rushing him back too soon. Bell continues to work out and receive treatment, and Tomlin was encouraged when he talked to Bell after he rode a stationary bike Tuesday, Dec. 30. Bell will need to show the coaches that he's healthy and able to protect himself before the game Saturday. RB Joshua Harris would be first in line to see the majority of the carries if Bell does not play.

Fantasy Tip: We strongly advise against using Bell for any FantasyScore lineups for the Wild Card round. Harris and Dri Archer should see most of the carries, even if the team signs Ben Tate. Archer may be the better bet for PPR leagues like FantasyScore, but both Harris and Archer are weak plays against a strong Baltimore run defense.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell likely out first round?

Tue, 30 Dec 2014 07:21:50 -0800

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) is likely out for the Wild Card Round playoff game Saturday, Jan. 3, in the opinion of Jason La Canfora.

Fantasy Tip: It was going to be tough to use Bell on FantasyScore at $8,100 because he'd occupy 16.2% of your cap. Dri Archer has some upside at $3,900, despite the presence of the Baltimore Ravens' solid run defense. He's worth strong consideration for a cheap flyer to load up elsewhere.

Steelers | No ligament damage for Le'Veon Bell

Mon, 29 Dec 2014 11:33:57 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) didn't suffer ligament damage to his knee, an MRI exam confirmed Monday, Dec. 29, according to a source. However, it'll prove difficult for Bell to play in the wild card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, depending on how he feels.

Fantasy Tip: Bell will not be 100 percent if he plays against the Ravens this weekend, and that could impact his explosiveness and shiftiness on the field, making him a pretty risky play at FantasyScore. Dri Archer may be worth considering, but remember, the Ravens had one of the best run-stuffing units in the league this year.

Mon, 29 Dec 2014 11:18:37 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) was seen at the team's facility Monday, Dec. 29, and reportedly could barely walk.

Fantasy Tip: It will be important to track Bell's status throughout the week. If he does play, he'll face a Baltimore Ravens defense that allowed just five rushing touchdowns during the regular season.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell has hyperextended knee

Mon, 29 Dec 2014 09:19:03 -0800

Updating previous reports, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) is dealing with a hyperextended right knee. However, head coach Mike Tomlin said Bell's injury wasn't serious. Bell had his knee wrapped in ice and walked slowly after the game, but he didn't have a brace on his knee and wasn't using crutches. It's unknown if Bell will be available for the team's wild card matchup against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday, Jan. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Bell avoided serious injury, so there is a chance he can suit up for the team's first playoff game. However, he'll be risky at FantasyScore because of the uncertainty surrounding his injury, and the Ravens are one of the best run-stopping units in the NFL this year. Bell was held to 59 and 20 yards on the ground in both games against Baltimore this year. Dri Archer and Josh Harris would see significant work if Bell doesn't play, with Archer being the back to target in fantasy leagues.

Sun, 28 Dec 2014 20:46:26 -0800

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (knee) does not appear to have any structural damage in his knee, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to watch Bell's practice participation during the week to see if he has a chance to play in the Wild Card game. Bell will be a risky option on FantasyScore but could be a solid option if he is able to play.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell holds team record

Sun, 14 Dec 2014 16:33:14 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell has 2,043 total yards this season, eclipsing the team record of 2,034 previously held by former RB Barry Foster.

Fantasy Tip: Bell finished with 20 carries for 47 yards and two touchdowns, while adding five receptions for 72 yards on seven targets. He continues to be a fantasy force, even when he doesn't have his best day yardage-wise. The idea of Bell being the No. 1 overall pick in fantasy for 2015 is quickly gaining traction.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell having historic run

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell has posted 711 yards from scrimmage over the past three games and that's the second-highest in a three-game span in NFL history. Former Chicago Bears RB Walter Payton posted 746 yards in a three-game stretch to hold the record.

Fantasy Tip: Bell has been lighting it up for his weekly fantasy owners, and FantasyScore owners continue to get tremendous production despite at a solid price.

Steelers | PIT not worried about overworking Le'Veon

Tue, 02 Dec 2014 11:14:59 -0800

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is the only player with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards this year, but head coach Mike Tomlin isn't concerned about overworking the team's running back the way QB Ben Roethlisberger is. "I'm not overly concerned about that," Tomlin said. "He's a highly conditioned guy, he's a mentally tough guy. Personally I think he's built for it. He's excited about having an opportunity to do that for us."

Fantasy Tip: Bell's workload is unlikely to be scaled back, and he makes for a good option for your FantasyScore lineups at $7,600 this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals, who have been gashed often this season by opposing ground games.

Steelers | Big Ben worried about Le'Veon

Tue, 02 Dec 2014 09:26:18 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is the "best all-around back in the game," according to QB Ben Roethlisberger, but the quarterback is concerned about Bell's workload down the stretch. Bell is the only rusher in the league with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards this year, and he played all but two of the team's 90 offensive snaps in Week 13. "I don't know of a running back since I've been here that has basically been able to play every single snap, but you do have to be careful," Roethlisberger said. "I hope we don't run him into the ground if you will, but it's that stretch of the year where everyone's going to give it everything they have. He probably wants to be in there every single play because that's the type of player he is." Roethlisberger said making RB Dri Archer part of the offense on regular plays is key.

Fantasy Tip: Bell's fantasy owners love the fact that he is on the field for most of the offensive plays. Also, the fact that Bell is so heavily involved in the passing game is excellent, especially for leagues that award points for receptions like FantasyScore. We don't expect Bell's workload to decrease significantly anytime soon, and he makes for another good play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14 for $7,600. The Bengals give up an average of 21.82 fantasy points to running backs this season.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell will see all action he can

Thu, 20 Nov 2014 06:20:46 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell will receive as many carries as he can handle, according to offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

Fantasy Tip: Bell should be an excellent RB1 for the stretch run after their bye week in Week 12.

Steelers | LeGarrette Blount a problem

Tue, 18 Nov 2014 06:28:05 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount left the field before the game was over Monday, Nov. 17, apparently upset that he didn't have a carry in the game. At least one teammate thought the team should leave him in Nashville. Blount has been an internal problem for more than a month and sources said he is dragging down star RB Le'Veon Bell. Some players have been pushing for the team to release him due to his attitude.

Steelers | Le'Veon Bell has big game Monday

Mon, 17 Nov 2014 19:02:42 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell had a career-high 204 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries in the team's Week 11 win over the Tennessee Titans Monday, Nov. 17, and he had all but three of the team's carries in the game. Bell had rushed for 205 yards and no touchdowns over the previous four games.

Fantasy Tip: Bell is a must-start in all fantasy leagues, and he should also be a weekly consideration at FantasyScore because of his ability to catch plenty of passes out of the backfield.
