Texting from front office personnel to coaches during a game is a violation of NFL rules, but Haslam said Farmer has the full support of the organization.

"If he wants to be back, that leverage is definitely in his court to make that happen," Farmer said. "Assuming that we could agree to that deal, then that opportunity's available. Fantasy Tip: Gordon's season and possibly career could be in jeopardy because of his numerous off-field issues. Cleveland Browns general manager Ray Farmer announced the signings of the following players Monday, May 19: RB Jourdan Brooks (Bengals), WR Taylor Gabriel (Abilene Christian), OL Randall Harris (Towson), DL Jacobbi McDaniel (Florida State), DB Robert Nelson (Arizona State) and TE James Oboh (Towson). Per NFL policy, all undrafted free-agent contracts are three-year deals. Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
