Cleveland Browns general manager Ray Farmer said in a statement that the team is disappointed with WR Josh Gordon's arrest, but the organization has stronger feelings about the situation.
Fantasy Tip: Gordon's season and possibly career could be in jeopardy because of his numerous off-field issues. Most owners probably can avoid him because of his possible suspension and off-field issues, but owners in very deep leagues could consider using a late-round flier on him in case he plays at some point in 2014.

Cleveland Browns general manager Ray Farmer announced the signings of the following players Monday, May 19: RB Jourdan Brooks (Bengals), WR Taylor Gabriel (Abilene Christian), OL Randall Harris (Towson), DL Jacobbi McDaniel (Florida State), DB Robert Nelson (Arizona State) and TE James Oboh (Towson). Per NFL policy, all undrafted free-agent contracts are three-year deals. Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Cleveland Browns CEO Joe Banner, who is on his way out of the organization, had the new offensive and defensive coordinators reporting directly to him, according to a league source. The source said Banner was a bit of a control freak and structured the coaching staff so the coordinators answered directly to him. Coordinators generally answer directly to the head coach. New general manager Ray Farmer, who was the assistant GM at the time, was not involved in the search for a new head coach.
