The St. Louis Cardinals will attend workouts for Cuban SS Aledmys Diaz and OF Dariel Alvarez. Diaz, 23, and Alvarez, 24, have established residency in Mexico.

The Miami Marlins likely will not show interest in Cuban OF Dariel Alvarez and SS Aledmys Diaz this offseason. Both have been declared free agents and are scheduled to work out for teams Saturday, Jan. 5.
