St. Louis Cardinals P Alex Reyes was pulled from his start Tuesday, July 26, with Class AAA Memphis after three innings. The team has him on standby in case he is needed to start Saturday, July 30, against the Miami Marlins.
Fantasy Tip: Reyes would be making his major league debut if he is called up. He is worth a look in NL-only fantasy leagues if you have the roster flexibility, as Reyes could be very good.

St. Louis Cardinals SP Alex Reyes allowed five earned runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings in his latest start for Class AAA Memphis Saturday, July 16.
Fantasy Tip: Reyes is a highly touted prospect, but the organization has maintained it will be patient with the 21-year-old righty. He also has some room for improvement given his 4.86 ERA through 10 starts with Memphis. Reyes could receive a cup of coffee at the highest level in September, but he isn't close at this point.
Tue, 05 Jul 2016 12:26:30 -0700
St. Louis Cardinals SP Alex Reyes has struck out 61 batters through 41 1/3 innings for Class AAA Memphis. However, general manager John Mozaliak remains adamant Reyes will not be rushed.
"My answer is not changing," Mozeliak reiterated Monday, July 4. "He needs to continue to work and get his innings."
Fantasy Tip: Reyes is a top pitching prospect for the Cards, and while he could see a late-season promotion, it might be as a reliever. He's a must-own hurler in deep dynasty/keeper formats, but in most seasonal leagues, he's a low-end priority at this point. Still, you'll want to monitor his progress.

St. Louis Cardinals SP Alex Reyes pitched his shortest outing of the season Tuesday, June 7, after he allowed four runs on six hits and a walk through just 1 2/3 innings.
Fantasy Tip: Reyes remains a high-end prospect, but the St. Louis rotation currently has five established hurlers in front of him, so Reyes will continue to fine-tune his craft with Class AAA Memphis. He is worth monitoring in the majority of seasonal leagues, but likely shouldn't be stashed outside of cavernous mixed and NL-only setups.
