Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton had just two catches for seven yards while playing 45 snaps in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals. In the last four weeks, Hilton has just 17 catches for 135 yards. Hilton had back-to-back 100-yard receiving games following WR Reggie Wayne's (knee) injury, but since then, opposing secondaries are clamping down on Hilton and giving him more double coverages. "I'm seeing double teams. Sometimes they roll the coverage my way. It just means guys got to step up, which they did, so we're moving in the right direction. (LaVon) Brazill, DHB (Darrius Heyward-Bey) made a big play and Da'Rick (Rogers) making plays, so as long as they continue to keep doing that, we should be fine."
Fantasy Tip: As a result, Da'Rick Rogers and LaVon Brazill have seen more opportunities. Rogers has benefitted the most, so maybe his emergence will draw some attention off of Hilton. Until then, temper your expectations with Hilton as more of a weak WR2.

Indianapolis Colts WRs LaVon Brazill and Da'Rick Rogers each had two receiving touchdowns in the Week 14 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. Rogers was making his NFL debut.
Fantasy Tip: Brazill and Rogers certainly look to have a bright future, but don't get too carried away with this one performance. Wait to see if they can duplicate their success before risking a fantasy roster spot on either of the receivers.

Signs are pointing toward Indianapolis Colts WR Da'Rick Rogers moving ahead of WR Darrius Heyward-Bey on the team's depth chart at wide receiver. Rogers made his debut with the team in Week 13 and played in 13 offensive plays. "We've got four guys on the 53-man roster right now at the wide receiver position and we've got to do a great job of playing to their strengths," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "We're going to need them all." Heyward-Bey has been targeted 26 times in the last five games but has just nine catches for 96 yards.
Fantasy Tip: As Mike Chappell notes, Rogers or LaVon Brazill could overtake DHB on the depth chart and be utilized more often in the final four games of the regular season. They both have more upside than DHB, as well. Take note if you've been holding onto Hewyard-Bey as the No. 2 opposite T.Y. Hilton. It's probably time to cut bait.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Wednesday, Nov. 27, that WR Da'Rick Rogers will make his team debut in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans. "He's going to get his shot," Pagano said.
Fantasy Tip: For fantasy purposes, Rogers isn't worth bothering with just yet. But he was a speedy guy with good hands in college at Tennessee, and he is one to watch down the stretch as he is likely auditioning for a job in 2014.

The Buffalo Bills might keep six wide receivers on their 53-man roster. WRs Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods, T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin are believed to be locks for the top four spots. Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday, July 31, that WR Da'Rick Rogers has taken a step forward since organized team activities (OTAs). That's a credit to him and our conditioning people and what he did in the offseason," Marrone said. "He's had some separation. He's a big receiver with strong hands. He's going to be competing for a roster spot."

Sat, 01 Jun 2013 09:43:32 -0700
Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone scolded WR Da'Rick Rogers in practice Friday, June 31, after the rookie wideout taunted CB Ron Brooks after beating him on a 15-yard reception. Rogers stood above Brooks for a moment after the defender had fallen to the ground.
"The thing that concerned me - and I addressed it with him right after he made a very good catch, then he kind of stood there over a player, and that's a 15-yard penalty - that's not what being a pro is, and that's not playing like a Buffalo Bill," Marrone said.
"I told him, 'Is this going to be something we're going to have to be concerned about with handling any type of success from you?' That's what I told him. I looked at him in his eye, and he understood that. And it's good to end on a good note cuz now you're excited to see what he can do when we come back to the mandatory minicamps."
Fantasy Tip: Rogers already was on a short leash. He has a tremendous amount of talent and could earn a meaningful role in the offense, should he keep his head on straight.

"Either you've learned your lesson and you've grown up and you're going to go forward and mature, or you haven't learned your lesson and you're going to be out on the street. It's that simple."

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix said Tuesday, April 30, that the team had a first-to-second round grade on WR Da'Rick Rogers, whom the team signed as an undrafted free agent. "Being from Tennessee, I've known his background," Nix said. "He's from Calhoun, Georgia, I knew him when he was playing in high school. The guy's got tremendous talent. He's made some bad decisions. It's gotten him in trouble. Got him out of the University of Tennessee, from an All-SEC performance in his sophomore year, and he goes to Tennessee Tech where he has a so-so year. He played down to the level of competition, really. But this guy's talented. He can play. The ball's in his court. He goes by the rules, and does like he's supposed to, or he goes somewhere else."

The Buffalo Bills are taking a low-risk, high-reward chance on WR Da'Rick Rogers, who was signed as an undrafted free agent Saturday, April 27. Rogers had the physical tools to be a draft pick, but poor off-field judgment hurt his stock and raised red flags. "It's frustrating, but I did it to myself," Rogers said at the NFL Scouting Combine. "And I realize how hard I have to work now that I'm behind the 8-ball. It's going to make me work that much harder."
