The club drafted QB Mike Glennon in the third-round of the 2013 NFL Draft, so there will be competition during training camp and the preseason. Fantasy Tip: If the incumbent Freeman is able to hold onto his job in training camp and the preseason, he might be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, since success means money. He would be worth a roll of the dice as a No. 2 or 3 fantasy option at his position since he has plenty to prove. He showed last season at times that he could be a very viable fantasy option.

Schiano said that QB Mike Glennon could "play quickly" if necessary Sunday, May 19. Fantasy Tip: Barring a drastic set of circumstances this summer, Freeman will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 1. Consider him a viable backup quarterback heading into the year.

"We have a starting quarterback. It's not like we're looking to find a starter. But competition is competition. Mike Glennon is a fierce competitor. I knew that when he was coming out of high school. Now being able to work with him a little, you can see it on the practice field," Schiano said.
