Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 9-5 loss to the Washington Nationals Sunday, Aug. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) has four homers and nine RBI over his last four games, and he has nine homers and 22 RBI in August. He is taking advantage of regular playing time since Carlos Gomez was traded and is providing great production for the price at FantasyScore.

Sun, 09 Aug 2015 15:47:16 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis hit two home runs Sunday, Aug. 9, as the Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-4. Davis now has four home runs in four games.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) is having an off year with a .237-9-31 line following 22 homers a year ago. Davis is a good FantasyScore start against right-handed pitchers (.268-7-25), so watch for those matchups.

Brewers | Khris Davis goes deep twice

Thu, 06 Aug 2015 17:13:38 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis hit two home runs and had six RBI in the win over the San Diego Padres Thursday, Aug. 6. The homers were his first since July 18. It was Davis' third career multi-homer game and second of the season. Davis has nine home runs on the season.

Fantasy Tip: With Gerardo Parra no longer around in Milwaukee, Davis ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) has become the regular in left field again, and he could be heating up with regular at-bats. Take notice if he was dropped in a deep mixed league.

Brewers | Khris Davis batting sixth vs. Arizona

Fri, 24 Jul 2015 14:11:12 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis is starting in left field and batting sixth against Arizona Diamondbacks SP Patrick Corbin Friday, July 24.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) has almost been limited to at-bats against southpaws, so his seasonal value has suffered since returning from a knee injury Tuesday, July 7. Gerardo Parra ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) could be dealt, though, so Davis would return to everyday at-bats in that scenario. His power upside is worth stashing in the majority of leagues. FantasyScore players should view him as a high-risk, high-reward option Friday. Davis is just 8-for-47 against lefties this season. Five of the hits have gone for extra bases, though.

Brewers | Gerardo Parra out of the lineup

Sun, 19 Jul 2015 09:25:10 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Gerardo Parra is not in the starting lineup against Pittsburgh Pirates SP Jeff Locke Sunday, July 19. OF Khris Davis will start in left field and is batting seventh in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Parra ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) probably is sitting out since the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Davis ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) has gone 3-for-13 since returning from his injury and may not be the best option for owners on FantasyScore to consider.

Brewers | Khris Davis playing left field

Sat, 18 Jul 2015 11:08:55 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis will start in left field and bat sixth against Pittsburgh Pirates SP Francisco Liriano Saturday, July 18. OF Gerardo Parra is not in the starting lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is 2-for-7 versus Liriano in his career with a double and a home run but is only batting .140 this season against southpaws in 43 at-bats. Avoid using him today in FantasyScore.

Brewers | Khris Davis in leadoff spot

Sun, 12 Jul 2015 12:39:37 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis is leading off and playing left field against Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brett Anderson Sunday, July 12. OF Gerardo Parra is getting the day off.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is batting leadoff for the first time in his major league career, despite having only seven career steals in 249 games (and none this year). He is hitting just .154 versus southpaws and .177 on the road this season, so he should be avoided in FantasyScore today.

Brewers | Khris Davis out of the lineup

Fri, 10 Jul 2015 15:04:39 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis is not in the starting lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday, July 10.

Fantasy Tip: Davis ($3,100,6.2% of cap) will likely platoon with Gerardo Parra ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) in left field, while also subbing in for Carlos Gomez ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) and Ryan Braun ($5,100 10.2% of cap) occasionally. Until there is an injury or trade there will be some shuffling in and out of the lineup for all four outfielders. Davis has pop and is worth a look for seasonal teams trailing in the home run column.

Brewers | Khris Davis leaves the yard

Wed, 08 Jul 2015 16:38:46 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers OF Khris Davis went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during the Brewers 6-5 win over the Atlanta Braves Wednesday, July 8.

Fantasy Tip: It was Davis' ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) second game since returning from a knee injury, so his quick success is encouraging. Fantasy owners will want to keep an eye on the Brewers' outfield daily, as they currently boast four quality options. Davis is worth owning in the majority of seasonal leagues, and his FantasyScore cap hit has plenty of profit potential in the right matchups.
