Brewers | Aramis Ramirez placed on DL

The Milwaukee Brewers have placed 3B Aramis Ramirez (knee) on the 15-day disabled list because of a left knee sprain. In a corresponding move, the team recalled INF Josh Prince from Triple-A Nashville.

Fantasy Tip: Prince, Yuniesky Betancourt and Alex Gonzalez could all see time at third base while Ramirez is out of the lineup. Betancourt likely will receive regular playing time at either first base or third base. Prince and Betancourt could be options in NL-only leagues, with Betancourt likely being more valuable. Hunter Morris could be an option to be recalled from the minors if Ramirez's injury lingers, but by then, Corey Hart (knee) could be near a return, as well.

The Milwaukee Brewers reassigned 2B Scooter Gennett, OF Josh Prince, SP Jesus Sanchez, 1B Hunter Morris, OF Kentrail Davis and C Adam Weisenburger to minor league camp Friday, March 15.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Josh Prince is in his first major league camp and he is taking the opportunity to learn as much as he can. "Granted, I still have my own routine and will stick with that, but I'm picking things up here and there, like with (OF Ryan Braun) and how much he stretches to keep his body right. I'm going to do that a lot more now."
