Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani allowed five runs over five innings, struck out six and walked two Monday, July 25, in a 7-5 win over the San Francisco Giants.
Fantasy Tip: Not bad for a pitcher who missed the first two months of the year due to a strained oblique. DeSclafani is now 6-0 overall and one of the few bright spots for the Reds. Start him in DFS formats and regular leagues as well.

Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani is among the "rotation names" being considered by the Texas Rangers as the trade deadline approaches.
Fantasy Tip: DeSclafani's stock has risen considerably since returning from an oblique injury that sidelined him the first two months of the campaign. He's 5-0 in eight starts with a 2.50 ERA, while registering a solid 40-to-9 K/BB ratio across 50 1/3 total innings. The right-hander would get a sizable boost if dealt to Texas, as although Arlington doesn't feature favorable conditions for pitchers, it's not that different from Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, plus he would be in a much better position for wins.

Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani upped his record to 5-0 after beating the Atlanta Braves in his start Wednesday, July 20. The right-hander churned out eight strong innings, yielding only two runs on eight hits, including a solo homer. He also struck out three and walked none.
Fantasy Tip: DeSclafani is someone whom fantasy owners should be looking at, as he's now hurled quality starts in seven of his eight assignments since making his season debut after missing the first two months with an oblique issue. He's worthy of being added in deep mixed leagues and if this keeps up, he'll be a valid option in standard formats, too.

Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani registered his fourth straight quality start in defeating the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Wednesday, July 6. The youngster worked six efficient innings, yielding three runs on eight hits, including a homer. He also struck out six and walked none.
Fantasy Tip: DeSclafani became somewhat of a forgotten name after missing the first couple of months of the season, but he's quickly re-established himself by going 3-0 in his six starts since returning. Not only that, he's impressively allowed two runs or less, while pitching six or more innings, in five of those outings. Based on his current run right now, DeSclafani shouldn't be available in deep leagues, and is worth monitoring even in standard formats. He's far and away Cincinnati's best pitcher at the moment.
