Reds | Anthony DeSclafani stays unbeaten

Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani allowed five runs over five innings, struck out six and walked two Monday, July 25, in a 7-5 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Not bad for a pitcher who missed the first two months of the year due to a strained oblique. DeSclafani is now 6-0 overall and one of the few bright spots for the Reds. Start him in DFS formats and regular leagues as well.

Reds | Rangers looking at Anthony DeSclafani

Fri, 22 Jul 2016 09:29:13 -0700

Cincinnati Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani is among the "rotation names" being considered by the Texas Rangers as the trade deadline approaches.

Fantasy Tip: DeSclafani's stock has risen considerably since returning from an oblique injury that sidelined him the first two months of the campaign. He's 5-0 in eight starts with a 2.50 ERA, while registering a solid 40-to-9 K/BB ratio across 50 1/3 total innings. The right-hander would get a sizable boost if dealt to Texas, as although Arlington doesn't feature favorable conditions for pitchers, it's not that different from Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, plus he would be in a much better position for wins.
