Tampa Bay Rays P Brett Blaise was suspended 50 games Tuesday, Sept. 18, for testing positive for an amphetamine, which is a performance-enhancing substance. His suspension will start at the beginning of next season. Blaise was playing for the Gulf Coast League Rays.
