Cincinnati Reds SP Tony Cingrani will be used out of the bullpen after he returns to form in the minors. Cingrani is 2-8 with a 4.55 ERA in 11 starts and two relief outings this year. "With a healthy starting five, that's where Tony can help us best this year," manager Bryan Price said. "We've seen him pitch very efficiently at times out of the bullpen."
Fantasy Tip: Cingrani has plenty to work on in the minors. He can be dropped in most mixed leagues now that he won't have a fantasy-relevant role moving forward barring an injury to the rotation.

Cincinnati Reds SP Mat Latos (calf) made his final rehab start with Triple-A Louisville Monday, June 9, and threw 81 pitches before a rain delay.
Fantasy Tip: The Reds were hoping Latos could approach the 100-pitch threshold in this final rehab start, but at this point, it's likely that they are convinced he's healthy enough to return. Tony Cingrani's rotation spot looks to be in jeopardy with Latos returning.

Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price thinks SP Tony Cingrani (shoulder) should be ready to return in two weeks when his disabled list stint is up. "He's felt like it hasn't impaired his pitching, but he's aware he hasn't felt 100 percent like his first game against the Cardinals," Price said. "I think he can still pitch with it. All things considered, we don't want 60 percent to 70 percent of Tony Cingrani if we can get closer to 100 percent. And we're going to take advantage of this spot in the schedule to get him right."
Fantasy Tip: Cingrani was unhappy with the team's decision to place him on the DL, too, so clearly he felt his injury wasn't very serious. Expect him to be back in two weeks.
