The Seattle Mariners reassigned OF Eric Thames, P Logan Bawcom and C Mike Zunino to minor league camp Tuesday, March 19. Thames was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.

Fantasy Tip: Zunino is the team's long-term plan at catcher, and there is a good chance he'll be called up at some point this season. He can hit for average and power and should be rostered in most keeper leagues this season.

Seattle Mariners highly touted young prospects SS Nick Franklin, P James Paxton, SP Taijuan Walker and C Mike Zunino are among 18 non-roster players invited to Major League Spring Training by the team Friday, Jan. 11. P Jonathan Arias, P Logan Bawcom, P Jeremy Bonderman, SP Andrew Carraway, P Danny Farquhar, C John Hicks, 1B Mike Jacobs, SS Brad Miller, SP D.J. Mitchell, P Brian Moran, INF Stefen Romero and RP Carson Smith are the other players invited to camp.
