The Philadelphia Phillies have reassigned Ps Adam Morgan, J.C. Ramirez and Kyle Simon, C Tommy Joseph and INFs Cody Asche and Michael Martinez to the minors. RP Joe Savery has been optioned to minor league camp.

The Baltimore Orioles acquired DH Jim Thome from the Philadelphia Phillies Saturday, June 30, in exchange for P Kyle Simon and C Gabriel Lino.

Fantasy Tip: Thome will have some fantasy value now in AL-only head-to-head formats, as he takes over as the primary DH for the Orioles. However, his value is a little less in rotisserie formats due to his low average. With regular at-bats, though, Thome's power numbers might make his average bearable.
