The Philadelphia Eagles signed TE Derek Carrier (Raiders) to the practice squad and released TE Chase Ford Tuesday, Sept. 11.

The Oakland Raiders have waived LB Kaelin Burnett, PK Eddy Carmona, WR Derek Carrier, WR Brandon Carswell, DE Hall Davis, TE Kyle Efaw, DL Dominique Hamilton, OL Kevin Haslam, OL Nick Howell, LB Chad Kilgore, OL Dan Knapp, WR Eddie McGee, C Colin Miller, RB Lonyae Miller, WR Travionte Session, LB Nathan Stupar and SS Curtis Taylor. The team terminated the contract of WR Roscoe Parrish and placed TE Tory Humphrey (hamstring), P Marquette King (toe) and S Brandon Underwood (hip, groin) on Injured Reserve. LB Aaron Curry will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list and miss at least the first six weeks of the season.

Oakland Raiders WR Derek Carrier is not expected to make the final roster because the team is deep at the wide receiver position. The Raiders may look to sign Carrier to their practice squad if he does not make the roster.
