Ravens | Justin Tucker is NFL's only perfect kicker

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 14:18:40 -0800

Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker is the only NFL kicker to remain perfect this season, converting on all 27 of his field goal attempts. Dating back to last season, Tucker has connected on 34 straight FGs, a streak that ranks as the sixth longest in NFL history. His 27 successful field goals this season lead the NFL.

Fantasy Tip: At this point, it should be common knowledge that Tucker is the best kicker in the game today. Of note, he also leads the NFL in FGs from 50-plus yards, having made seven, which makes his current miraculous run even that much more impressive. He shouldn't be available in any leagues.

Ravens | Four FG for Justin Tucker

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 13:34:01 -0800

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker kicked four field goals (52, 57, 54 and 36 yards) to aid his team in a 19-12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Tip: In this era of kickers that miss extra points on a weekly basis, Tucker has been a bright light. The fact he made three field goals of 50 yards or more is a big bonus, since leagues often award points based on distance. If he is available, pick Tucker up for your stretch run and playoffs. Tucker has made 34 field goals in a row, including 27 this season, and has connected on all 15 conversion tries.

Ravens | Justin Tucker boasts strong leg

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 10:32:30 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker claims he could hit a field goal of more than 84 yards in the ideal conditions. "We think about these things really specifically, if you send me out there you have a reason for it -- because they think I can make a kick," Tucker said Thursday, Aug. 4, on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. "To me it doesn't matter where I just have to hit a good ball. If conditions are prime -- like last season, we opened up in Denver, the weather was warm and the field was nice, you're up in altitude so the ball just carries and in pregame I hit the cross bar from 85. So if the situation is just prime, maybe 84 and a half yards."

Fantasy Tip: We felt you may have needed a moment of comic relief this fine day. While Tucker -- with no pressure -- may have the leg for it, this would take the most improbable of circumstances to come to fruition. That said, he's arguably the best fantasy kicker heading into 2016 drafts.

Ravens | Justin Tucker receives long-term deal

Fri, 15 Jul 2016 12:35:29 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker agreed to a four-year deal with the Ravens Friday, July 15, worth $16.8 million, according to a source. The deal includes $10.8 million in guaranteed money.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker has been one of the better kickers in the NFL over the past few years. The Ravens may have seen a dip in their production on offense, but Tucker could still be a decent option in most fantasy leagues.

Ravens | Justin Tucker gives Ravens ultimatum

Thu, 14 Jul 2016 16:35:38 -0700

Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker has vowed not to re-sign with the team after this season if the two sides cannot come to an agreement on a long-term deal before the Friday, July 15 deadline, according to his agent Rob Roche. The franchise tag for kickers this season is $4.5 million, which is what Tucker would be earning if he can't secure his desired long-term contract prior to Friday afternoon.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker has a real gripe here. Not only has he been one of the most consistent kickers in fantasy over the past few seasons, he's actually the second-most accurate kicker in NFL history. By comparison, Baltimore has been offering him less money than what Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby makes. Regardless of where he plays, Tucker is still one of the upper echelon legs to lean on in any fantasy league.

Ravens | Justin Turner may want top kicker deal

Fri, 08 Jul 2016 13:10:33 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker likely wants to receive a better deal than the four-year, $17.2 million deal New England Patriots PK Stephen Gostkowski signed last year. The Ravens have until July 15 to sign Tucker to a long-term deal or he will play under the one-year franchise tender of $4.572 million. In the opinion of CSNMidAtlantic.com's Clifton Brown, the Ravens want to sign Tucker to a new deal and Tucker wants to stay.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker made 33 of his 40 field goals in 2015 and is one of the better fantasy kickers available. He should be a weekly starting option in all leagues this season.

Ravens | Justin Tucker confident about deal

Mon, 13 Jun 2016 07:37:07 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker, who has signed his $4.57 million franchise tender, is confident a long-term deal will be reached and termed it "a matter of when, not if."

Fantasy Tip: Tucker is one of the top-flight kickers in fantasy that should go late in drafts when it's time to strike on kickers.

Ravens | Justin Tucker financials

Fri, 26 Feb 2016 10:20:22 -0800

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker will earn $4.5 million in 2016 after he had the franchise tag placed on him Friday, Feb. 26. He hit all 29 of his extra-point attempts last year, and six of his seven field goal misses were from 50-plus yards.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker is an elite fantasy kicker, and he should be one of the first booters off the board in drafts, albeit in the final rounds.
