The Minnesota Vikings signed DT Chase Baker, RB Joe Banyard, TE Lamark Brown, DB Bobby Felder, TE Chase Ford, OG Tyler Holmes, OT Kevin Murphy and WR Chris Summers to futures contracts Monday, Jan. 7.

Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook (arm) is dealing with a broken arm, not a broken wrist, as was previously reported. Cook will need surgery that is expected to keep him out for seven to eight weeks, which means the team will likely place him on the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return. CB Josh Robinson replaced Cook in the game Thursday, Oct. 25, and figures to start as long as Cook is sidelined. CB Bobby Felder could replace Cook on the active roster.

The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with undrafted free-agent DT Chase Baker (Boise State), RB Derrick Coleman (UCLA), DE Kevin Cyrille (Florida Atlantic), CB Bobby Felder (Nicholls State), WR Kamar Jorden (Bowling Green), DE Eric Latimore (Penn State), LB Tyler Nielsen (Iowa), DE Ernest Owusu (California), LB Corey Paredes (Hawaii), OG Austin Pasztor (Virginia), DT Tydreke Powell (North Carolina), DT Terrell Resonno (Missouri), C Quentin Saulsberry (Mississippi State), OT Darrion Weems (Oregon) and C.C. Whitlock (South Carolina). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
