Daryl Richardson Fantasy Football News, Notes, Rumors and Statistics
News | Statistics | Player vs. Team | Utilization | Injury History | Depth Chart | Team Roster
Fri, 22 Mar 2013 19:24:50 -0700 The St. Louis Rams are likely to add more running backs to the roster before the start of training camp, as the team has only RBs Terrance Ganaway and Chase Reynolds on the roster after RBs Isaiah Pead and Daryl Richardson. "We'll fill the position," head coach Jeff Fisher said. "When and how I don't know."
Fri, 19 Oct 2012 18:48:46 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson has seven consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons, and it might be in jeopardy this season thanks to the emergence of RB Daryl Richardson. Through six games, Jackson is on pace for just 861 rushing yards, while Richardson is on pace for 656.
Mon, 15 Oct 2012 19:08:24 -0700 The St. Louis Rams backfield tandem of RBs Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson is becoming a timeshare, but a productive timeshare with Richardson almost getting as much time as Jackson. Richardson isn't nearly as proficient in pass protection as Jackson, but he does provide a burst and a big-play threat.
Sun, 23 Sep 2012 08:41:12 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (groin) is expected to play against the Chicago Bears in Week 3, according to NFL Network's Stacey Dales. Rookie RB Daryl Richardson is expected to come off the bench. Fantasy Tip: This wouldn't be the first time that Jackson has played after not practicing all week, so it's not a surprise, but fantasy owners should be hesitant to play him against what can be a difficult run defense, especially if he's limited in some way. Richardson is also a risky play today, too, so ambitious folks who picked him up should probably wait for a better opportunity to play him.
Sun, 16 Sep 2012 23:44:52 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Daryl Richardson carried 15 times for a team-high 83 yards in Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. Richardson saw an increased workload when RB Steven Jackson (groin) left the game early due to injury. Richardson also added two catches for 19 yards, posting 102 total yards from scrimmages despite not starting, but he also lost a fumble.
Sun, 09 Sep 2012 20:09:19 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Isaiah Pead did not have any carries or receptions in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions, although he was able to play. Pead's only game action came with one kickoff return for 25 yards. RB Daryl Richardson apparently past Pead on the team's depth chart. Richardson carried twice for 20 yards. Fantasy Tip: Pead was drafted in the later rounds as a handcuff for fantasy owners of RB Steven Jackson, but it might be a good idea to swap out Pead for Washington. Other than that, neither is particularly attractive in weekly formats unless Jackson suffers a long-term injury.
Tue, 28 Aug 2012 21:17:19 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Daryl Richardson was originally expected to simply compete for a roster spot, but he is now pushing RB Isaiah Pead for the No. 2 job behind RB Steven Jackson. In fact, head coach Jeff Fisher indicated Tuesday, Aug. 28, that Pead and Richardson are both expected to see time in the backfield behind Jackson.
Wed, 08 Aug 2012 20:19:19 -0700 St. Louis Rams RB Daryl Richardson (hamstring) participated in team drills for the first time in training camp Tuesday, Aug. 7, after dealing with a hamstring injury. "It looks like the injury is behind him, so we threw him in there. It's good to have him back," head coach Jeff Fisher said.
Sun, 29 Jul 2012 20:30:36 -0700 The St. Louis Rams might take a while to sort out their return men during training camp and the preseason. WR Danny Amendola, CB Janoris Jenkins, RB Isaiah Pead, RB Daryl Richardson and WR Greg Salas are among the candidates for return duties.
Sun, 29 Jul 2012 20:18:49 -0700 St. Louis Rams rookie RB Daryl Richardson is the favorite for the No. 3 running back job behind starter RB Steven Jackson and primary backup RB Isaiah Pead.
