Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said he is surprised that PK John Potter has produced a touchback on only 13 of his 26 kickoff this season. "You know, I was hoping that he would have more touchbacks and have more non-returned kicks this year, yes," Gailey said. "I was hoping for that. The good thing about it is when he kicks it we have great hang time. That's been a positive. So, you decide the trade-off every week." Potter had extras kickoff reps during practice this week.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with fourth-round draft choices LB Nigel Bradham and CB Ron Brooks, fifth-round draft choice OT Zebrie Sanders, sixth-round draft choice OG Mark Asper and seventh-round draft choice PK John Potter. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The Buffalo Bills likely will use PK John Potter, their seventh-round pick in the NFL Draft, as a kickoff specialist. Plenty of teams kicked it through the end zone against the Bills last season, neutralizing return man WR Brad Smith. "That's mostly what peopled did to us," general manager Buddy Nix said. Potter said he had 36 touchbacks, which was about 43 or 44 percent, in college.
