New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan, Akiem Hicks, DT Brodrick Bunkley and LB Curtis Lofton should be able to fit a 3-4 defensive alignment. Jordan and Hicks could become defensive ends while Lofton could be one of the middle linebackers. Bunkley is a bit undersized to be a nose tackle but could be used at the position.

New Orleans Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt said there is a chance DT Akiem Hicks (hand) could play in the first preseason game. Hicks broke his hand during offseason workouts and was taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list earlier this week.
