Reds | Devin Mesoraco activated, Tucker Barnhart sent down

Mon, 07 Apr 2014 10:27:23 -0700

The Cincinnati Reds activated C Devin Mesoraco (oblique) from the 15-day disabled list Monday, April 7, and optioned C Tucker Barnhart to Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move.

Fantasy Tip: Mesoraco might be eased into regular playing time, but once the club feels he's ready, he's expected to be the primary catcher over Brayan Pena. You could do worse than having Mesoraco as your second catcher.
