Arizona Cardinals OG Jonathan Cooper served as the backup left guard in the first day of organized team activities (OTAs) Tuesday, May 14. OG Chilo Rachal worked with the first team, while OG Daryn Colledge worked as the starting right guard with OT Bobby Massie at right tackle. OT Nate Potter worked as the starting left tackle, as OT Levi J. Brown (triceps) continues to rehab from surgery.

Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said he believes OT Bobby Massie is a candidate to have a breakout season in 2013. Keim did not say if the team will be using Massie at offensive tackle or offensive guard next season.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said his first look at the team's roster prompted more positive surprises than negative ones, most notably on the offensive line. "We get some guys healthy, it's not as dire as some might make it out to be," Arians said. "And some young guys have a chance to play who might be all right." Arians pointed to OTs Nate Potter and Bobby Massie. Massie started every game while Potter started the last six. "They got some experience against quality opponents," Arians said. "They're just going to get better."

The Arizona Cardinals have some interest in trading for Baltimore Ravens OT Bryant McKinnie, who has fallen out of favor with OT Michael Oher taking his spot at left tackle. OT Kelechi Osemele is now starting at right tackle, leaving McKinnie as the odd-man out. McKinnie has played in only 23 offensive snaps in the team's last three games. Cardinals OTs Bobby Massie and D'Anthony Batiste are struggling mightily this year.
