The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim acquired OF Exicardo Cayones and P Kramer Sneed Tuesday, March 26, in the deal that sent OF Vernon Wells to the New York Yankees.

The deal between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates for SP A.J. Burnett has been made official as of Sunday, Feb. 19. The players headed to New York, OF Exicardo Cayones and P Diego Moreno, will be in the team's minor-league spring training camp.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have officially acquired SP A.J. Burnett from the New York Yankees for OF Exicardo Cayones and P Diego Moreno. Burnett passed his physical, and Major League Baseball approved the financials, so the deal is now official.
