The team did not pursue high-priced safeties in the free-agent market, surprising some agents. However, the team feels they might have the answer internally.

Richardson was placed on Injured Reserve after suffering the injury in the team's Week 12 game. His agent said there is no timetable but the goal is for him to be ready for training camp.
