Oakland Raiders LB Miles Burris said the team will try him out at outside linebacker to begin with but know he can play inside linebacker as well if playing outside does not work.

Packers | Miles Burris could be draft option

The Green Bay Packers met with San Diego State LB Miles Burris at the NFL Scouting Combine and may consider selecting him at some point during the 2012 NFL Draft. Burris said he believes he can play any linebacker spot in the 3-4 defensive alignment as well as the 4-3 defensive alignment.

Texas LB Keenan Robinson posted the best broad jump out of linebackers at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine with a jump of 10 feet. Those that followed included Texas Christian LB Ricky Carder (10-foot-1), San Diego State LB Miles Burris (10-foot-1), Florida State LB Nigel Bradham (10-foot-1), Oklahoma LB Travis Lewis (10-foot-2), Boston College LB Luke Kuechly (10-foot-2), Temple LB Tahir Whitehead (10-foot-4), Nevada LB James-Michael Johnson (10-foot-4), Arkansas State LB DeMario Davis (10-foot-4) and California LB Mychal Kendricks (10-foot-7).
