He then kicked the game-winning field goal from 38 yards. Walsh set a team record for longest field goal in a season opener, and he became just the fourth Vikings kicker to boot one from 50 or more yards in a Week 1 game. The 55-yard field goal is tied for the second-longest in franchise history.
