Minnesota Vikings TE Rhett Ellison caught seven passes for 65 yards in 2012, and spent a lot of time on special teams coverage units. He is viewed as a hard-nosed and highly competitive player who should only see his role continue to grow, especially if TE John Carlson (knee) is not back.

Southern California TE Rhett Ellison measured 6-foot-4 7/8, 251 pounds at his Pro Day Wednesday, March 7. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds and 4.81 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.40 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.16 seconds. He measured a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-3 broad jump.
