Cowboys | Danny Coale to have surgery

Dallas Cowboys WR Danny Coale (foot) has a broken left foot and will undergo surgery by the end of the week. Coale suffered the injury at the end of practice Tuesday, May 22. Coale is expected to be back around the start of training camp.

Dallas Cowboys WR Danny Coale was used as an outside receiver as well as a slot receiver during practice Friday, May 4. Coale said he is comfortable lining up at either position.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said WR Danny Coale will be a candidate for the No. 3 wide receiver position because of his ability to play on the outside as well as in the slot.
