The Cleveland Browns feel confident WR Travis Benjamin and RB Dion Lewis can handle the return duties, which is why fan favorite WR Joshua Cribbs (Raiders) (knee) was allowed to leave via free agency without much effort to re-sign him. Plus, Cribbs is 30, and there are concerns about his knee.

Cleveland Browns WR Travis Benjamin (finger), OT Oniel Cousins (shin), RB Montario Hardesty (knee), OL Shawn Lauvao (head, foot) and OL Joe Thomas (back) all fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and are probable for Week 16. WR Joshua Cribbs (knee), DE Juqua Parker (knee) and DL Phil Taylor (knee, calf) were all limited in practice and are probable. OL Ryan Miller (not injury related) did not participate in practice and is probable.

Cleveland Browns WR Travis Benjamin returned a punt 93 yards for a touchdown in Week 14, and head coach Pat Shurmur likes what the combination of Benjamin and WR Joshua Cribbs can give the special teams unit. Cribbs hasn't heard anything from the team in terms of a contract extension, though, and it appears as though he's being phased out of the club's plans. "I've got to get prepared for this game right here and I have three games to show what I can do, that I can still be an asset to this team and can be an asset to any football team," Cribbs said.
