Green Bay Packers DL Jerel Worthy (knee) may not be able to play next season because of the surgery he had to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament earlier this month. He has never suffered a torn ACL before but it usually takes longer for linemen to come back from the injury.

The Packers intend to use their base defense against the Vikings like they did extensively last season. DLs Jerel Worthy and Mike Daniels split time in Wilson's absence last week, but their run defense suffered as a result.

"His interviews are so delusional in terms of him thinking he's one way and everybody else saying that he's another," one personnel man said. "If he doesn't have it in him, people will be waiting for something that's not going to happen." Coples led with 5 1/2 votes, while Memphis DT Dontari Poe and Penn State DT Devon Still each received 3 1/2 votes. "Love Poe's ability," one scout said. "Don't like the way he plays. Pretty good kid. Quiet. Humble. Country. Pretty well-spoken. But he doesn't know what he doesn't know. If you tell him that he doesn't play hard, he's like,'Really?'"
