Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he does not think DT Jerel Worthy (knee) will be ready for the start of training camp because of the torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered this season.

Green Bay Packers DL Jerel Worthy (knee) may not be able to play next season because of the surgery he had to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament earlier this month. He has never suffered a torn ACL before but it usually takes longer for linemen to come back from the injury.

Green Bay Packers defensive line coach Mike Trgovac said Tuesday, Jan. 15, that DE Jerel Worthy (knee) had surgery on his knee. However, Trgovac was unaware of exactly what was repaired. Worthy is expected to miss the entire offseason.
