The New York Jets have released WR Joe Collins, LB Marcus Dowtin, G Fredrick Koloto, G Matt Kroul, P Spencer Lanning, CB LeQuan Lewis, TE Tarren Lloyd, S D'Anton Lynn, CB Julian Posey, DE Jay Richardson, WR Eron Riley, LB Brett Roy, QB Matt Simms and NT Martin Tevaseu. The team also waived OG Robert T. Griffin.

The New York Jets agreed to terms with undrafted rookie free-agent OL John Cullen (Utah), LB Marcus Dowtin (North Alabama), CB Donnie Fletcher (Boston College), DL Damon Harrison (William Penn), QB G.J. Kinne (Tulsa), TE Brian Linthicum (Michigan State), DB D'Anton Lynn (Penn State), CB Ryan Steed (Furman), LB Donovan Robinson (Jackson State) and LB Brett Roy (Nevada). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

NFL | D'Anton Lynn to be sidelined 4-6 weeks

Penn State CB D'Anton Lynn (calf) is expected to sidelined for four to six weeks because of a torn calf muscle. Lynn worked out with the injury at the NFL Scouting Combine which caused him to run the 40-yard dash in 4.70 seconds. He initially suffered the injury during Penn State's bowl game and aggravated the injury preparing for the combine.

NFL | D'Anton Lynn has torn calf muscle

Penn State DB D'Anton Lynn (calf) has a torn calf muscle and is expected to miss up to six weeks. He worked out at the NFL Combine with the injury, but couldn't finish his workout there. He plans to work out again for NFL scouts in mid-April.
