Reid said that the problem was rookie WR Marvin McNutt getting beaten by his man so badly that he was pushed into the path of P Mat McBriar, who ended up punting the ball into McNutt. Reid also said that rookie LB Ryan Rau was to blame for the team's punt team not having the correct personnel on the field on that play. The head coach also explained how inexperience is the reason for the team having so many fumbles this season.
