Titans | Kendall Wright receives first playbook ever

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said the playbook he received from the team was the first one he has ever had. Wright played college football at Baylor, where head coach Art Briles uses practices, film study and meetings to teach plays signaled into the offense. Nothing was written down and bundled into a playbook of any form. "For me, it's learning everything," Wright said. "I was just out there. We had a lot of different stuff we ran at Baylor. But right now I have a playbook that I'm studying every night and going over with coaches in the meetings. It's a different learning process for me."

Titans | Kendall Wright addition hurts other receivers

The addition of Tennessee Titans rookie WR Kendall Wright, who was selected in the first round, created a bunch of questions about WR Kenny Britt's (knee) health and which wide receiver may now be the odd man out. Wright has a chance to boost the receiving corps quickly and the team will likely need him to make an impact early.

WRs Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins will likely be hurt by Wright's addition. Both improved last year and proved they deserved more playing time, which will be tough to come by with Wright, who is an explosive player who excels on screens, in the mix.

The New England Patriots traveled to Waco, Tex. earlier this week to conduct a private workout with Baylor WR Kendall Wright. The receiver could go as high as 16th to the New York Jets, or could fall into the second round thanks to a subpar 4.61 40-yard dash speed at the NFL Scouting Combine.
