"It's a full offseason for him to get better in the classroom and on the field," Carr said. "His confidence was already soaring as the season was coming to an end, so he needs to continue to bring that each week."
Thu, 21 Feb 2013 09:49:28 -0800 The Dallas Cowboys want CB Morris Claiborne to add more bulk and strength in the offseason in order to handle the added responsibility in the team's new defensive scheme. Cornerbacks will be asked to do more in the run game under new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin. "He has to get stronger," secondary coach Jerome Henderson said. "There were times where he struggled getting off receivers because he wasn't strong enough. I think some of that was due to the fact he couldn't lift all offseason and build upper body strength … That's one of the things I'm going to talk to him about when he gets back in. We've got to get stronger because now we're going to ask him to do that even more."
