Fri, 21 Sep 2012 09:21:53 -0700 Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (hip) did not practice Friday, Sept. 21, and is ruled out for Week 3. Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners should've been preparing for Week 3 as if this were going to be the case, anyway. This sounds like a short-term injury, at least. DeSean Jackson and Brent Celek may get a few more looks, and they remain good plays. Riley Cooper (broken collarbone) also remains out. Quick rookie Damaris Johnson figures to start, but he's not worth playing, especially since head coach Andy Reid said that he plans to "mix and match" at receiver. Jason Avant should remain in the slot, at least, and could be a desperate flex solution for those in pretty deep leagues; QB Michael Vick has a rapport with him.
