|Colts | Dwayne Allen the preferred TE?|
Fri, 24 Jul 2015 18:28:56 -0700
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen has started every game he has been healthy enough to play in, and Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star believes Allen's more complete skill set and the team's expanded receiving corps could lead to more snaps for Allen as the lone tight end in 2015.
Fantasy Tip: Allen has fringe TE1 value because of his red-zone impact alone, and the possibility of an expanded role makes him worth the taking a chance on when the top tight end options are off the board.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen sheds weight|

Fantasy Tip: Allen had just 29 catches, but he broke out with eight touchdowns. The offense will have two legit receivers, so it might open up things a bit more in the middle for him. He's on the fringe as a low-end TE1 but has upside in this offense.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen keeping focus on field|
Sat, 06 Jun 2015 18:42:59 -0700
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen said he isn't going to worry about a possible contract extension during the season. "It's a lot of mouths to feed, and if you worry about that, you're not going to play well," Allen said. "The best thing you can do for yourself is know that off-field stuff will take care of itself."
Fantasy Tip: Allen was a favorite target of Andrew Luck in the red zone, and he finished last season with eight touchdown catches. On the flip side, he doesn't pile up a ton of yards because of all the firepower at Luck's disposal, leaving him prone to the occasional dud. Allen is probably better served as a matchup play rather than an every-week starter.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen missing offseason program|
Wed, 13 May 2015 17:05:41 -0700
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen is missing the first four weeks of the Colts' offseason program as part of his plan to play as many as 20 games in 2015. "The high ankle sprain (from 2014) lingered a little longer then I wanted it to. I talked to (Coach Pagano) about it and there was an understanding. I've been out here for two months, just grinding, getting my body in good shape so that I can go out and the team can depend on me. Getting late in the year (2014), I had a banged up knee and a banged up ankle. They didn't feel, I didn't feel, that they could depend on me and that was frustrating because I feel as if, in every situation throughout the season, they can count me," Allen said. Allen expects to rejoin the team Monday, May 18, for the beginning of organized team activities.
Fantasy Tip: Allen played 13 games last season, catching 29 passes for 395 yards and eight touchdowns. As one of Andrew Luck's favorite red zone targets, Allen could perform like a top-10 tight end if he can stay healthy. Due to injury concerns, Allen could set up as a steal in the latter rounds of 2015 fantasy drafts.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen contract talks not looming|
Mon, 20 Apr 2015 11:58:38 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen is a big playmaker when he's healthy and arguably the Colts' best tight end even with Coby Fleener on the roster. Allen scored eight times on just 29 catches last year, so he's a stickler for the end zone as well.

|Colts | Likely wait and see with Dwayne Allen|
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 22:35:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen has slipped well behind Coby Fleener on the depth chart at tight end. While he is still a key piece of the offense, fantasy owners likely won’t want to pay him much mind unless he surprises during the early portion of the season.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen probable for playoff game|
Fri, 02 Jan 2015 13:49:11 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Allen should be able to play this week after being able to practice all week. Allen caught eight touchdowns during the regular season and probably will be part of the passing game during the game. Allen costs $5,300 on FantasyScore and could be an attractive option for owners.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen practices in full|
Thu, 01 Jan 2015 12:13:02 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Allen should be able to play in the Wild Card game unless he suffers a setback. Allen caught eight touchdowns during the regular season but only had 29 total receptions. Allen caught $5,300 on FantasyScore, but owners may be able to find a better option.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen takes part in practice|
Wed, 31 Dec 2014 15:45:16 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Allen did not play in the final regular season game because of the injury but appears to be on track for the Wild Card playoff game. Allen only has 21 yards and one touchdown in his last four games. Allen costs $5,300 on FantasyScore but may not be the best option to use.
