Thu, 30 May 2013 08:53:08 -0700 Indianapolis Colts TE Coby Fleener caught a pair of deep balls from QB Andrew Luck in practice Wednesday, May 29. Fleener said he's remembering more and more of the traits from new offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, who ran the West Coast offense Fleener ran with Luck at the Stanford helm. Hamilton is expected to involve the position more often than his predecessor, Bruce Arians, did. "What did he have 20-, 30-some catches last year? That should double," head coach Chuck Pagano said. Fantasy Tip: Despite the projected increase in TE involvement, Dwayne Allen's presence limits Fleener's upside. Neither should be considered more than a fantasy backup you can't rely on week to week, but each has the potential to serve as a solid fill-in for byes and injuries.
Sun, 04 Nov 2012 17:15:23 -0800 Indianapolis Colts rookie TE Dwayne Allen had six receptions for a career-high 75 yards in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. Fantasy Tip: Allen has actually set career-highs in yardage in back-to-back games, as he becomes more of an option in the passing game with TE Coby Fleener (shoulder) inactive again. Still, he is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy leagues if Fleener is to be inactive for more games.
Wed, 31 Oct 2012 19:48:47 -0700 Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen is expected to see more work in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins, as TE Coby Fleener (shoulder) has already been ruled out.
Sun, 16 Sep 2012 19:16:44 -0700 Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen made his first NFL reception memorable - a 3-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter of the Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings. It was Allen's only grab of the game.
Sat, 28 Jul 2012 13:43:54 -0700 Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said the Colts will play two or three tight ends this year. He is looking for rookies Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen to get on the field and compete to find a role because the tight ends could be used at wide receiver, running back and fullback. Arians said the team's tight ends are all very talented and can be used in a lot of different roles. "So I like to think back to a Kenny Dilger or a Marcus Pollard, that type of skill set where we can split them out and have them in the backfield and see how the other guys come in and keep growing. So the sky's the limit for their ability," Arians said of the teams' rookie tight ends.

Wed, 25 Jul 2012 15:25:27 -0700 The Indianapolis Colts signed third-round draft pick TE Dwayne Allen to an undisclosed deal Wednesday, July 25.
Sun, 08 Jul 2012 11:58:34 -0700 The Indianapolis Colts have not signed first-round draft choice QB Andrew Luck, second-round draft choice TE Coby Fleener and third-round draft choice TE Dwayne Allen at this point.
Mon, 23 Apr 2012 14:56:46 -0700 The New York Giants met with Clemson TE Dwayne Allen earlier this offseason.
Fri, 24 Feb 2012 21:27:07 -0800 Clemson TE Dwayne Allen and Stanford TE Coby Fleener each hoisted 225 pounds in the bench press 27 times at the NFL Scouting Combine Friday, Feb. 24.
