Texans | Brock Osweiler tosses two TDs

Sun, 04 Dec 2016 18:09:43 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 22 of his 35 pass attempts for 202 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 13 game against the Green Bay Packers in snowy conditions. He also ran three times for 20 yards.

Fantasy Tip: It was just Osweiler's fifth multi-touchdown game of the season and sixth outing in 12 starts with a completion percentage of 62.9 percent or better. He still remains more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 14.

Texans | Brock Osweiler still starter

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 12:48:31 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler will remain the Texans' starting quarterback, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has arguably been the worst quarterback in the NFL this season in his first year with the Texans. He just cannot succeed no matter what defense he's playing. It's probably safe to drop him, but keep him on the bench if dropping is too drastic.

Texans | Brock Osweiler continues to struggle

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 22:04:22 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 22 of his 37 pass attempts for 246 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in the Week 12 game against the San Diego Chargers. He also ran three times for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler continues to make plenty of mistakes and this game resulted in a season-low 45.5 QB Rating. He cannot be trusted in fantasy leagues outside of formats requiring two starting signal callers.

Texans | Brock Osweiler mediocre on MNF

Mon, 21 Nov 2016 21:48:53 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 26 of his 39 pass attempts for 243 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 11 game against the Oakland Raiders Monday, Nov. 21, in Mexico City. He also ran twice for 19 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler faced a favorable pass defense, but he still didn't do much and was on the losing end, too. Osweiler has been one of the bigger busts among the offseason signings, and he is nothing more than a low-end QB2 in most fantasy formats.

Texans | Brock Osweiler throws 2 TDs

Sun, 13 Nov 2016 14:42:42 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 14-for-27 passing for two touchdowns but only 99 yards. He did not turn over the ball.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler belongs on exactly zero rosters at this point for 2016 leagues. Frankly, it is hard to justify him having enough upside to be rostered in full-retention keeper leagues.

Texans | Owner defends Brock Osweiler

Mon, 31 Oct 2016 10:21:24 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler improved to 10-5 as a starting quarterback in the NFL following his team's Week 8 win over the Detroit Lions. While he continues to fight the public perception he is already a bust less than one year into his four-year, $72 million contract which include $37 million guaranteed, team owner Bob McNair is preaching patience. "He's still basically a rookie. He's going to make some mistakes, but he shows that he has the talent, he has the ability and has the leadership that the team has confidence in him," McNair said.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler's numbers (1,719 passing yards, nine touchdowns and nine interceptions for a 73.1 passer rating) has turned off fans and fantasy owners alike, but McNair isn't wrong. Head coach Bill O'Brien offense is almost the polar opposite of what Osweiler was exposed to in Denver, and it is obvious the quarterback is dealing with a lack of confidence at the moment. With that said, he's going to be difficult to trust anytime soon in fantasy, so he can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Texans | Brock Osweiler bounces back

Sun, 30 Oct 2016 13:02:39 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler bounced back from a bad road outing by throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown in a 20-13 win over the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: The Texans have been perfect at home this season, so this might not come as a surprise. Osweiler is still a risky bet to play because of his up-and-down nature, but keep an eye on the matchups. Osweiler may be a better play at home, where he has thrown eight of his nine touchdowns.

Texans | Brock Osweiler on track to play

Fri, 28 Oct 2016 16:07:26 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler was held to only 131 yards in his last game and has thrown for less than 200 yards in three of the last five games. He does have five touchdowns and four interceptions during that span and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Texans | Full practice for Brock Osweiler

Thu, 27 Oct 2016 18:58:32 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 27.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has underwhelmed and is coming off a brutal performance, but he could have value as a DFS sleeper against a porous Detroit secondary in Week 8.

Texans | Rebound game for Brock Osweiler?

Wed, 26 Oct 2016 21:23:33 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler will start in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are tied for the NFL lead with 18 passing touchdowns allowed. Detroit also has given up 273.0 yards per game through the air, 10th most in the league.

Fantasy Tip: The Lions have a solid front seven to apply pressure, but this might finally be the game Osweiler breaks out and posts solid fantasy numbers. In deeper fantasy leagues Osweiler is a good streaming option if you need a bye-week replacement or your primary matchup has a difficult matchup.

Texans | Brock Osweiler has full practice

Wed, 26 Oct 2016 16:00:18 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) participated fully in practice Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has not been worth his $12 million contract this year, not even close. But, he does have one of the best matchups of the week against the Detroit Lions. Detroit has yielded 18 touchdowns through the air this year -- tied for most in the NFL. You may not want to start him in seasonal leagues, but Osweiler is a cheap contrarian option in daily formats.

Texans | Brock Osweiler won't be benched

Tue, 25 Oct 2016 14:37:13 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler will not be benched, according to head coach Bill O'Brien, who said he hasn't even considered benching the quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: The Texans may not be benching Osweiler, but fantasy coaches should be. Osweiler has thrown only eight touchdowns while throwing an equal amount of interceptions. He has been one of the most underwhelming players in the NFL through seven weeks and does not belong in the starting quarterback slot on fantasy rosters.

Texans | Brock Osweiler has terrible reunion

Mon, 24 Oct 2016 21:34:03 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler returned to Denver for the Week 7 game Monday, Oct. 24, and he completed 22 of his 41 pass attempts for just 131 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions and one fumble lost.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has not jelled very well with DeAndre Hopkins, he had accuracy issues all evening and he rarely looked downfield. He has very little fantasy appeal heading into Week 8 against the Detroit Lions.

Texans | Brock Osweiler should be in uniform

Sat, 22 Oct 2016 13:30:55 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in six games this season and will be facing a strong Denver Broncos pass defense in Week 7. Owners in all leagues probably should avoid Osweiler this week.

Texans | Full practice for Brock Osweiler

Fri, 21 Oct 2016 18:23:39 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) was a full participant in practice Friday, Oct. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is on track to play in Week 7, but mediocre numbers and matchup with Denver's stout defense make him a poor fantasy play.

Texans | Brock Osweiler banged up

Fri, 21 Oct 2016 06:30:51 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (foot) was added to the injury report Thursday, Oct. 20, with a foot injury. He went full in practice Thursday, and he's expected to play in Week 7 on Monday Night Football.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has struggled with a 59 percent completion percentage, 1,402 yards, eight scores and eight picks. He returns to face his former team in the Denver Broncos, and he's not a strong play except in two-QB leagues.

Texans | Brock Osweiler off target in loss

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 16:43:57 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed just 19 of his 42 pass attempts for 184 yards, a touchdown and one interception in the Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler hasn't looked very good this season, throwing for six touchdowns and seven interceptions in five games, and he has tossed for 196 or fewer yards in two of his past three games. He is only worth fantasy attention in leagues which require two starting QBs.

Texans | Brock Osweiler so-so in victory

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 17:36:14 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 25 of his 37 pass attempts for 254 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans. He also ran once for 14 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler bounced back from a disaster last week with the two touchdowns, but he also had two more picks and has turned it over six times in four games. He remains more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 5 and beyond.

Texans | Brock Osweiler takes blame for loss

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 21:14:32 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler said he takes the blame for the performance of the offense against the New England Patriots in Week 3, and he said he will become a better quarterback because of the experience.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has three touchdowns and four picks through three games, and he looks like a low-end QB2 at this point.

Texans | Brock Osweiler not on injury report

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 15:20:23 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (back) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler will not be limited by his back injury and should be able to make all the throws in the offensive playbook. He will be facing a tough New England Patriots defense and probably is not a great fantasy option for owners.

Texans | Brock Osweiler a full participant

Tue, 20 Sep 2016 15:43:58 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (back) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has been inconsistent throughout his short career, but he does have a favorable matchup against the New England Patriots this week. The Patriots yielded nearly 400 yards to Ryan Tannehill last week and Osweiler is a cheaper investment in daily contests.

Texans | Brock Osweiler has full practice

Mon, 19 Sep 2016 16:43:04 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler (back) participated fully in practice Monday, Sept. 19. Osweiler's status is simply an estimation of what his practice activity would be as the Patriots only held a walkthrough.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has been decent so far in his first season with Texans, but he doesn't perform consistently enough to warrant QB1 status on a week-to-week basis. He's not a bad play in daily contests this week, however, going up against a New England Patriots defense that just gave up nearly 400 yards to Ryan Tannehill.

Texans | Brock Osweiler successful in debut

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 21:54:25 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 22 of his 35 pass attempts for 231 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears in his regular season team debut.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler jelled nicely with Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins, and the run game was good allowing him plenty of time to throw. If everyone on offense can remain healthy, Osweiler could be a decent QB2 in most fantasy leagues worth using in select weeks when the matchup is favorable.

Texans | Brock Osweiler sharp in win

Sun, 28 Aug 2016 19:12:54 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 11 of his 13 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown in a 34-24 preseason win over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday, Aug. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is an unknown as he enters his first season as a full-time starter, but a solid supporting cast makes him worth a look as a midrange QB2. He could develop into a decent trade chip.

Texans | Brock Osweiler talks chemistry with WRs

Wed, 24 Aug 2016 10:40:26 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler is encouraged by the chemistry he is developing with his receivers following the second preseason game. "I think the receivers are understanding when I want to get the ball out versus man versus maybe a zone coverage. Obviously, I'm learning the body language of each wide receiver when he's going to come out of his break, how he likes his football, where he likes his football. Every single day we're getting better."

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is a low-end quarterback option who should be left to the waiver wire outside of SuperFlex and two-QB leagues. There is some potential in the revamped Houston attack, but fantasy owners should wait to see the offense clicking before relying on Osweiler as anything more than a desperation start.

Texans | Brock Osweiler decent in victory

Sat, 20 Aug 2016 22:22:18 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler completed 12 of his 19 pass attempts for 124 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 20, against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler looked a lot more comfortable in this game than his debut. He is going to be just fine as long as DeAndre Hopkins stays healthy, Will Fuller continues to progress and either Jaelen Strong or Braxton Miller can emerge as another viable target. He remains more of a low-end QB2 in most standard fantasy formats with some room to move up.

Texans | Tom Savage impressing in training camp

Sun, 07 Aug 2016 07:18:01 -0700

Houston Texans QB Tom Savage has had an impressive first week of training camp, according to head coach Bill O'Brien. "He's really worked hard to change his body, become stronger, become quicker, quicker release," O'Brien said. "He has a much better knowledge of our offense. It takes a while for that position. The only thing Tom needs is an opportunity. Tom is a good football player and he's put a lot of time in to get to where he is right now." Savage is competing with QBs Brandon Weeden and T.J. Yates to serve as the backup to QB Brock Osweiler.

Texans | Brock Osweiler comfortable

Sun, 31 Jul 2016 20:47:06 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler said he felt comfortable calling the plays and making adjustments at the line of scrimmage during practice Sunday, July 31.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is a bit of an unknown heading into his first season as a full-time starter, and he shouldn't be counted on as more than a mid-range QB2.

Texans | Brock Osweiler a work in progress

Sat, 11 Jun 2016 17:06:08 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler said he still has a "long way to go" to learn head coach Bill O'Brien's system, but O'Brien said Osweiler has lived up to expectations thus far.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler shouldn't be viewed as more than a mid-range fantasy backup in his first year as a full-time starter.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins, Osweiler progressing

Mon, 06 Jun 2016 12:41:25 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler and WR DeAndre Hopkins have progressed in their chemistry, according to head coach Bill O'Brien, who said both players are working extremely hard.

Fantasy Tip: Hopkins has proven that he can succeed no matter who is throwing the football. He's still by far their best receiving option and worth a look in the mid-WR1 group. Osweiler, on the other hand, should not be drafted as a starting fantasy quarterback in his first season with the Texans.

Texans | Brock Osweiler learning new offense

Wed, 11 May 2016 20:14:34 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler said Wednesday, May 11, that it has been fun learning a new offense and trying to get comfortable in his new surroundings. "It's fun," Osweiler said. "It's hard to judge that progress because we haven't hit the practice field and gone against a defense, but it's like you speak Spanish your whole life and then all of a sudden one day, they tell you to go learn French and do it in front of 70,000 people."

Fantasy Tip: Having a deep threat and talented receiver like Nuke Hopkins will certainly make things easier, and if Lamar Miller can fill the shoes of the departed Arian Foster, that would be huge, too. Osweiler will have a lot of pressure to perform, and we have really only seen glimpses of brilliance from him. He could be the next Tom Brady, or he could be the next Matt Cassel. It's hard to say at this point.

Texans | Brock Osweiler looking good

Thu, 07 Apr 2016 12:03:36 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler is looking good during the team's offseason workouts, according to a source. WR DeAndre Hopkins has been off the charts, too.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler had some success in his first seven NFL starts with the Denver Broncos last year, but he was inconsistent overall. He has the potential to become a low-end QB1 in the right matchups in 2016, but he's safer taken as a backup QB. Hopkins proved he is an elite WR1 and will now have one of the more talented quarterbacks he's ever had throwing to him in Houston.

Texans | Brock Osweiler praised by coach

Sun, 20 Mar 2016 21:01:25 -0700

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler received praise from head coach Bill O'Brien Sunday, March 20. "We studied all of the snaps he had," O'Brien said. "He is tough. He is an accurate passer. I like his leadership. Of all the people who have coached him, everybody spoke highly of him. We are really happy with our decision to sign him."

Fantasy Tip: O'Brien's endorsement isn't surprising, but despite all the praise, Osweiler is best suited as a backup fantasy quarterback.

Texans | More on Brock Osweiler deal

Thu, 10 Mar 2016 09:57:21 -0800

Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler's deal includes a $12 million Super Bowl bonus and $20 million more in guaranteed base salary, including a $5 million roster bonus this month. He'll have $37 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler joins a Houston club that has beefed up their offense considerably, but with just seven career starts under his belt, it's safe to say that Osweiler is a bit of an unknown. He has some nice weapons around him, but he'll be safer as a midrange fantasy backup to start in Houston.

Broncos | Mike Glennon a trade target for Denver?

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 15:48:17 -0800

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Mike Glennon is being mentioned as a possible trade target for the Denver Broncos after they lost free-agent QB Brock Osweiler to the Houston Texans on Wednesday, March 9.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler's departure means the Broncos will be linked with just about every available free-agent quarterback or any signal-caller who has supposedly been on the trade block recently. Glennon would be a serviceable fallback option if the Broncos chose to go in that direction, but Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III are better fits in head coach Gary Kubiak's offense. Regardless of which one winds up in Denver, none of them figure to be anything more than a QB2 for fantasy purposes.

Texans | Brock Osweiler contract details

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 12:38:26 -0800

Updating a previous report, the Houston Texans are giving QB Brock Osweiler a four-year deal worth $72 million, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is still a work in progress after seven starts for the Denver Broncos last year, but he has promise with a very strong arm. He joins a Texans team that also just brought Lamar Miller on board for the backfield. DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best young wideouts in the game. All the weapons are in place for Osweiler to succeed, but you'll want to be patient and take him as your fantasy backup in 2016.

Texans | Brock Osweiler agrees with Houston

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 12:16:15 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler has agreed in principle to a deal with the Houston Texans Wednesday, March 9, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Nothing is official yet, but it looks like Osweiler decided to move his talents elsewhere. The Texans are also on the verge of signing Lamar Miller, so Houston's offense is about to see a significant boost. Osweiler will have one of the best young receivers in the game now in DeAndre Hopkins, too. Consider the Arizona State product a fantasy backup target with upside for a lot more.

Texans | Houston making run for Brock Osweiler

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 09:55:33 -0800

The Houston Texans are making a good run for Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler. However, it's unlikely that he leaves the Broncos, in the opinion of the Houston Chronicle's John McClain.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler made seven successful starts last year for the Broncos, and he showed, despite a lack of experience, that he can put up decent numbers in the NFL with a starting gig. He would have the weapons around him in Houston to be successful, but he's safer as your fantasy backup in 2016.

Broncos | Denver ramping up efforts for Osweiler

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 09:31:05 -0800

The Denver Broncos are ramping up their efforts to re-sign impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler Wednesday, March 9, and negotiations are ongoing. It's either the Broncos or Houston Texans for Osweiler.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler was successful with Denver in a seven-week run as their starter last year with Peyton Manning hurt, and he is a good fit in Gary Kubiak's offense. He's still a bit raw, so he'll have his ups and downs, but he's clearly the most attractive remaining QB on the market. Wherever he lands, he'll be more of a fantasy backup.

Wed, 09 Mar 2016 07:43:40 -0800

Broncos | Denver cut off talks with Brock Osweiler?

Tue, 08 Mar 2016 19:14:13 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler and his representatives have reportedly not engaged in any negotiations with the team since offering a three-year deal worth $45 million on Saturday, March 5, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: The Houston Texans are considered to be the Broncos' main competition for Osweiler and have more cap room than Denver, so this report suggests the top young free-agent quarterback on the market could be on the move. The 25-year-old would likely be a middling QB2 if he returns to the Broncos, while a move to Houston may be the best for his long-term fantasy outlook.

Broncos | Brock Osweiler offer not enough

Mon, 07 Mar 2016 07:44:52 -0800

Updating previous reports, the three years and $45 million the Denver Broncos offered impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler is "not enough to get the deal done at this point," according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The two sides are expected to have more talks when free agency opens this week.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler has chemistry with the current Denver roster and experience in the system, so his fantasy value would be highest if he stays with the Broncos. Even then, he's safest as a fantasy backup in 2016, but he does have upside for more in the right matchups.

Broncos | Brock Osweiler offer details

Sat, 05 Mar 2016 12:34:40 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler has been offered a three-year contract worth more than $45 million, according to sources. It is not known how much of the offer is fully guaranteed, but it does include incentives. If Osweiler and the Broncos do not agree on a deal before Monday, March 7, he will be able to talk with prospective teams before free agency begins Wednesday, March 9.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler could be the most intriguing quarterback option on the free-agent market next week if he doesn't re-sign with Denver. No matter where Osweiler plays next season, though, he won't be worth starting quarterback consideration.

Broncos | Offer made to Brock Osweiler

Thu, 03 Mar 2016 14:49:28 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler received a substantial offer from the Broncos Thursday, March 3. Details of the offer were not disclosed.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos might be in desperation mode to bring Osweiler back, hence the "substantial" offer. Although it was reported earlier that the two parties weren't close to a deal, so maybe Osweiler wants more. Nevertheless, Osweiler should not be seen as a QB1 no matter where he plays or starts in 2016.

Broncos | Brock Osweiler deal not close

Thu, 03 Mar 2016 14:23:20 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler and the Broncos are not close to a deal at present, but Denver does want Osweiler back.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos are in a bit of a sticky situation at quarterback. If Peyton Manning retires and Osweiler decides to sign elsewhere, they'll need to sign a signal-caller in free agency and/or via the draft. Whoever quarterbacks the Broncos probably won't be worth starting in fantasy leagues, though, at least not right away.

Texans | Brock Osweiler to Houston possible?

Mon, 29 Feb 2016 14:32:26 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent Brock Osweiler's next best suitor could be the Houston Texans if he is not retained by the Broncos, in the opinion of CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is highly expected to return to Denver either via the franchise tag or a long-term deal. If Von Miller is tagged, though, then there is a higher possibility that he chooses to leave for a more profitable deal. Assuming he does stay in Denver, Osweiler is still a backup fantasy quarterback.

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler will not have the franchise tag used on him, according to general manager John Elway.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is either signing a new deal or hitting the free-agent market. With a relatively subpar quarterback group this year, Osweiler could leave Denver for a more lucrative contract elsewhere. Don't try to gauge his value until we know for certain where he'll play, though.

Broncos | Brock Osweiler talks not serious

Thu, 25 Feb 2016 13:43:57 -0800

Denver Broncos impending free-agent QB Brock Osweiler and the Broncos have not had substantive negotiations yet regarding a new deal.

Fantasy Tip: Osweiler is widely viewed as the Broncos next starting quarterback, but he could be offered more from another team if he hits the free-agent market. If he does sign and start with the Broncos he still shouldn't be considered a starting fantasy quarterback, however.

He's been real special with the job he's done this year. I think he's grown a great deal."
