Fri, 25 Jul 2014 14:28:17 -0700

New York Giants RB David Wilson (neck) took his first hit of training camp Friday, July 25, without issue. "That felt good," Wilson said.

Fantasy Tip: Another big hurdle passed for Wilson, who will now have to contend with a crowded backfield in training camp. Wilson is a risky draft option, and should be considered an RB4.

Giants | Could use three-man rotation at RB

Wed, 23 Jul 2014 05:18:00 -0700

New York Giants RBs Rashad Jennings, David Wilson and Andre Williams could be used in a three-man rotation this season to keep Jennings fresh.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings will be the lead back with Wilson in to change the pace. Williams could be the goal line back. Jennings is a decent RB3 with Wilson an RB4. Williams could be a decent flier as an RB5 with upside in TD-only leagues.

Giants | David Wilson looks sharp

Tue, 22 Jul 2014 19:23:28 -0700

New York Giants RB David Wilson (neck) was making quick cuts and looked like one of the most athletic players on the field Tuesday, July 22, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com.

Fantasy Tip: Wilson's injury history and the depth chart are working against him, but he could still be worth a late-round flier in fantasy leagues thanks to his big-play speed.

Giants | Former OC believes David Wilson can help

Mon, 21 Jul 2014 10:32:15 -0700

New York Giants RB David Wilson (neck) should be able to help the offense if he is able to stay healthy this upcoming season, according to former offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride. Gilbride said Wilson needs to work on his pass blocking and route running.

Fantasy Tip: Wilson said he has been cleared, but it remains to be seen what he will be able to do on the field after neck surgery. He should have a role in the offense if he stays healthy, but he probably will not receive most of the playing time at the position. Owners can consider Wilson as a risky No. 4 running back leading up to their drafts.

Giants | Andre Williams could be part of rotation to start the year

Mon, 07 Jul 2014 18:46:26 -0700

New York Giants RB Andre Williams could unseat RB Peyton Hillis as the power back by the start of the year and become a part of a three-man rotation with RB Rashad Jennings and RB David Wilson, according to Giants.com writers John Schmeelk and Dan Salomone.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings is the favorite to be the featured back, but with Wilson's injury history, there is a chance Williams could carve out a worthwhile role in the offense. He probably isn't worth drafting at this point, but he is worth keeping an eye on to see how his role develops.
