Sun, 21 Apr 2013 20:48:07 -0700 Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery accepted an invitation to train with WR Brandon Marshall in South Florida at Fit Speed Athletic Performance, a training facility co-founded by Marshall and his longtime trainer. "I just wanted to learn from someone different and do thing different," Jeffery said Sunday, April 21. "Plus, he's a Pro Bowl player. I want to see what it takes." When he arrived at Fit Speed, Jeffery weighed in at 225 pounds with a body fat percentage of 11 or 12 percent. When he checked out a few weeks ago, Jeffery weighed 219 pounds with eight percent body fat. Fantasy Tip: The dedication and hard work is good news for Jeffery, as conditioning was one of the biggest knocks on him coming out of South Carolina. He has big-play ability, and could be a solid WR2/3 or flex fantasy option in 2013 if he continues to work hard.

The team does not want Jeffery to change the way he plays. "The thing I'm trying to make sure of is that it doesn't destroy him from a mental standpoint," said receivers coach Darryl Drake.
