Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said he does not regret the prior regime trading first- and second-round picks to the Cincinnati Bengals for QB Carson Palmer. Raiders | Reggie McKenzie not intimidated by job

Mon, 09 Apr 2012 07:01:19 -0700

Never thought I shouldn't take the job because of things like that either," McKenzie said. "It never entered my mind. I just figured, 'We'll find players.' I know how to find players. I've been in Green Bay when we found Mark Tauscher and Donald Driver late in drafts, and found Tramon Williams on the street, and signed Charles Woodson in free agency. It can be done."

Raiders | Reggie McKenzie happy with offseason

Mon, 26 Mar 2012 07:25:02 -0700

Despite having little room under the salary cap to operate, Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said he has been happy with the moves the team has made this offseason. "A little bit better (than expected), because we were able to knock out a couple of areas we felt we wanted to upgrade, and fill in or solidify," McKenzie said. "We felt like the O-line as a group, we solidified big time by getting the two veterans back and the coaching staff would like to see Wiz (Stefen Wisniewski) move inside, see what he can do. They feel pretty good about that."
