Carolina Panthers DT Kawann Short's possible long-term extension will probably be more complicated considering Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox's recent deal, according to Panthers head coach Ron Rivera. Cox's deal averages $17.2 million per year and includes $63 million guaranteed. Those figures could make Short's deal nearly impossible, as general manager Dave Gettleman has proven he doesn't overpay for what he believes a player's value to be.

Fantasy Tip: Sproles should have a significant role in the offense behind Ryan Mathews with DeMarco Murray no longer in the picture in 2016.
