The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with undrafted rookie free-agent WR Elvis Akpla (Montana State), LS Matt Camilli (Texas-El Paso), TE Chase Ford (Miami), CB Cliff Harris (Oregon), FB Emil Igwenagu (Massachusetts), WR McKay Jacobson (Brigham Young), WR Damaris Johnson (Tulsa), WR Aaron Pflugrad (Arizona State), RB Chris Polk (Washington), FB Jeremy Stewart (Stanford), FS Phillip Thomas (Syracuse), P Ryan Tydlacka (Kentucky) and WR Darnell Williams (Louisiana College). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Washington RB Chris Polk said he hoped to run the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine. He posted a 4.57 mark, according to NFL.com, which ranked No. 14 among all running backs.

Washington RB Chris Polk lost nine pounds in the past month, checking in at 215 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine. "I wasn't really comfortable with my weight," Polk said. "I didn't like being that weight. I didn't like the way my body looked. I was flexing, not to many muscles were showing, and I would definitely say that my Senior Bowl weigh-in was definitely a wake-up call."

Some NFL scouts question the speed of Washington RB Chris Polk, who is an erect running, meaning he takes a lot of hits. "I've been fast my whole life," Polk said. "It's just a matter of showing it. I think they think I'm slow because of my running style. I'm real patient. If I see a crease, I'm gonna hit it 100 mile per hour."
