Joe Gibbs Racing driver Matt Kenseth was docked 50 points after the engine in his winning car from the Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway failed inspection after the race. Crew chief Jason Ratcliff was suspended six races and fined $200,000. Kenseth also lost three bonus points he earned for winning the race, and his pole position for the race was rescinded.

Fantasy Tip: Fortunately for fantasy owners that had Kenseth in their lineups last weekend at Kansas, none of these penalties will affect you. The victory still counts for fantasy purposes.

Joe Gibbs Racing announced Friday, Dec. 16, that Jason Ratcliff will serve as the crew chief for driver Joey Logano in the Sprint Cup Series next year. Former crew chief Greg Zipadelli is joining Stewart-Haas Racing.
